The support, training and constant communication between Canva account manager and Colliers. Also being able to collaborate across all team to ensure our designs and brand remain strong and consistent. Canva's willingness to support corporate initiatives and promote the platform internally. Not being able to split invoices to teams which will greatly help our administration/finance side.
Unable to export a clean data sheet of all our users.
Lack of targeted data for specific corporate needs e.g. how many designs a user has published, which tools they used the most, which teams and countries use the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If we met at a conference or in the street and you asked for my thoughts on Canva, I would tell you that I love the platform. Genuinely.
For those of you older than 30, you may recall learning how to create and edit photos and videos using the major tools at the time. While those products were relatively affordable (at the time), it could be frustrating and time consuming to create marketing materials at scale. For small or medium sized business, time really does equal money.
Fast-forward to 2025 and we have Canva, a tool that really has empowered and enabled businesses of all sizes to create and scale their marketing capaibilites.
The feature-to-value ratio is crazy, and you're not locked into unfair and extortionate prices. It's 'fun' to use, has a huge range of apps to super-charge you're work, offers an insane range of stock multimedia, and now includes AI features to enhance your outputs or just make life easier. Tools I particularly like include magic resize, background remover, text extractor and more.
And the best part is for MOST cases, I no longer need to swap between software. No more editing photos in one platform and (basic) videos in another. I can do so much in one place.
Further, the brand kits enable us to take more 'control' on what colours and text our local teams can use, without enhibiting their creativity. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main challenge has come from interface changes, as we have needed to retrain our 50+ local sites such as where they find all of our business templates. While this is manageable, it does require some effort to keep everyone up to speed with the changes.
In addition, recent price hikes have been painful given legacy costs. That said, Canva Enterprise pricing is still competitive vs. other providers, is good value for money given the wealth of features available and includes enhanced security and AI capabilities.
Another downside, which I have fedback on, is the lack of transparency on what designs are being created and published by users. The company I work for pays for Canva Enterprise licences and therefore we should be able to have visibility of how the licences are being used. This isn't because there is a lack of trust - nor do we micromanage, but it is important we understand how the licences are being used, what for, where content is being produced off-brand, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Canva is most helpful to our Instructional designers as it is easy to use, there is never any downtown so it allows them to create daily, the continuous improvements by Canva gives more creative avenues and having a huge library of assets available to our Instructional Designers is also a huge blessing! The ease of saving projects in different formats and integrating them into another program to deliver our internal training to our employees is the best part of using Canva. As an industry leader, we need to provide engaging L&D content to our employees in order to provide first class customer support in our Telecommunications business to remain the best and retain customers. We love Canva and wouldn't use any other software program! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I cannot think of any negatives aspects of Canva Enterprise! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's many things I like about Canva; the tech itself as a design platform is exceptional and easy to use, the support and onboarding teams are first class and will work tirelessly for you as a customer for ease of implementation. What I like the most, is the opportunity to own your own destiny to create something unique and special for your business with Canva's API's. The Connect and AutoFill API's are easy to integrate and allow you to potentially push into areas that drive frequency of use, efficiencies and ultimately profitability to your business. There isn't too much I dislike about Canva but as an Enterprise customer with a large network with many users, there's elements we don't want our users to see / use, but I also acknowledge that's part and partial to the system. Maybe one day where you can curate the interface to suit the requirements of the customer, that could be a worthy discovery. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Canva Enterprise brings a lot of value to our company in the form of brand management - the ability to create on-brand templates that are customizable allows us to equip our recruiters with branded materials that allow them to still personalize the candidate experience. In addition, the ease of use for people who aren't as familiar with these programs is great, and allows more people to market properly branded materials Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My dislike list is very short, and very nitpicky and specific to designers and the functionality of the platform, for example elements always being added to the bottom layer or not having a lot of flexibility with the guidelines and when those issues arise, our account manager always takes the note back to the production team, so I know they're being reviewed. Overall the biggest issue we have is people using their personal accounts and going rogue with incorrectly branded templates, but we're working on fixing that with SSO Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The number of features, specifically, the brand kits and templates available and gated to certain teams within the enterprise system, allows us to have mutliple usecases and workflows within Canva.
Customer Support has been incredible in helping us launch the program for our company.
Lastly, the ability to integrate with other systems will help Canva tie to our platform and applications making it a seamless experience for our potential 20k+ users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not all templates need to go through the same workflow and lack of ability to adapt makes it difficult to grow our program. The cost per seat in comparison to the pro version is high. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The flexibility and various pathways to get something created, rolled out, and maintained through approvals across all our teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Random roadblocks like having to take 3 extra steps to make a Course Banner, but I think Canva does a great job at hearing the feedback from these and getting a fix in place. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Really easy to use, didn't require any tutorials to get started or elaborate setup. I am a designer but it's a product that can be used by anyone, and I still use Canva for my presentations over other design tools. It makes it especially easy to have all the company branding, assets and templates accessible. Customer support is also great, when we had issues the team were quick to respond and jump on a call to help resolve the issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some features that took me a while to discover/weren't as intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Canva is a streamlined way for us to maintain brand consistency across multiple logos within our brand. It offers easy-to-update templates that adapt to ongoing social media changes and provides our network with a simple system to create both social assets and print materials. It’s a bit of a flaw in Canva, but the process of linking our CRM system to Canva to streamline asset creation is taking longer than expected. It seems the integration feature could use some improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
User friendly for non designers, can get artwork done real quick once a template has been setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
lack of animation control, and timeline interface isn't clear, hard adjust a few elements sometimes when creating video. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
