Top Rated Café Alternatives

At Upflow, we run on a distributed team, with 2 "hubs" that are offices where we all meet. Knowing who's in and out is super important! My favorite feature of Café is the ability to know in real time where my coworkers are working from, and ability to sync. I now know when to come to the office!
I'm a big fan of the mobile app and slack integration, which my life easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish I could integrate more things into Café, for example booking google calendar rooms, but honestly, that's not a big requirement for us at the moment. Café works just fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Working in a hybrid workplace raises issues like getting together with a scattered team. Café is a very practical tool for us to meet again and more than usual. Teamates work more together and create links.
All the information is brought together to have an overview of everyone's schedules thanks to the integration of slack and google calendar.
The tool often evolves with new features, which is appreciable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For our needs, Café responds correctly to our expectations and our use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I recently tried Café and I must say I’m impressed with the app! One of the things I liked best about Café is the schedule view feature, which allows you to share and access people’s schedules to find the best day to meet. This has made scheduling meetings much easier and less time-consuming for me.
The analytics feature is another thing I really appreciate about Café. It provides detailed data on occupancy rates, people connections, and office attendance, which helps me make informed decisions about the office space usage.
I also love the trends and interest graph feature, which allows me to see what’s trending in my organization and connect with others based on common interests. The user profile customization is also a nice touch, allowing me to add my own hobbies, activities, and hashtags to my profile. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As for areas of improvement, there are a few things that could be better. For example, the platform doesn’t let you book meeting rooms, which can be a bit frustrating. Additionally, Café doesn’t offer a dedicated desk booking experience, which would be helpful for those who have specific desk preferences.
Another area for improvement is the UX, which can change quite frequently, making it difficult to adapt at times. I also noticed that Café doesn’t integrate with Google Chat or Zoom Chat, which could be a hindrance for some users. Additionally, I was unable to access analytics under the free plan.
Overall, despite some areas of improvement, Café is a great app that I would definitely recommend to others. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

All the integrations (slack, HRIS, etc).
The diversity of the features covering the diversity of needs, depending of how your company manager the different workstyles.
The DATA!!! You can use them to plan the future and analyze the past and the on-going.
The design: platform user-friendly even with employees which are less comfortable with app/webapp.
Personalization: I can look for the information I want and plan my event in my own way, and my coleeague can do that in her own way. Flexibility is key when your tool is used by everyone!
Customer service: I have a crazy high level of requirement when I work with a provider/tool/service and they are able to give me clear, quick, and efficient feedback with no bullshit. And they always are listening to their customer to improve! You really have the feeling that it's done for you, not for them. They want you to be satisfied. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing! I wouldn't work with them if I wasn't fully satisfied :) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I absolutely love using this flex office management app! It has made managing my time in the office so much easier and more efficient. I can easily book and reserve my preferred workspace and even schedule meetings with colleagues who I want to collaborate with. Plus, the app's social feature allows me to connect with like-minded individuals in the office, making it easy to network and build relationships with others at Veepee. Overall, this app has been a game-changer for me, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking to streamline their office experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Most of the annoying things can be configured (eg: Slack notifications). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

As a startup guy, I know that building a strong team is crucial for success. And when we transitioned to a hybrid work model, we knew we needed a tool that would keep us all connected and engaged, no matter where we were working from. Enter Café!
What I love most about Café is how it helps us build authentic relationships with each other based on our interests. We use the events, groups, and communities features to connect with colleagues we might not have had the chance to interact with otherwise. And with Café's space booking feature, we can easily find out where our teammates are working from and meet up with them in person. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing that could be improved is the interface - it takes a bit of time to get used to all the features and how they work together. But once you get the hang of it, it's easy to navigate.
Overall, Café has been a game-changer for our team. We're more connected, engaged, and productive than ever before. If you're looking for a tool to help your hybrid team thrive, I highly recommend giving Café a try! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I wouldn't say that i have something that i dislike specifically about café as an App. Even the free plan is quite generous : ) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the standout features of Café is the Schedule View. This allows users to easily share their schedules with others and access the schedules of their colleagues, making it a breeze to find the best time to meet.
The Slack integration is also highly appreciated, which allows users to sync their location status and working hours with their Slack account and set their status directly from Slack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing that can be a downside for some users is the fact that it doesn't offer a dedicated desk booking experience.
However, it's important to note that Café does offer other features, such as the Floor Plan and Event Management features, that can help teams manage their office space effectively. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Schedule view - share yours and access people's schedules to find the best day to meet. I was tired of endless conversations on slack to know who is at the office. Slack Integration also make it even more powerful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I was a bit frustrated not being able to access analytics in the free plan. But the problem is gone since I bought a paid plan (and I'm quite happy with the new features!) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My favorite part of Café is the schedule view: it's the best way to know which coworker will be at the office! And it's also a great way to know which events will be organized.
