We were able to seamlessly integrate two versions of Microsoft NAV with two Shopify stores and two 3PL partners. As a result, orders now flow in and out our ERP system, with real-time updates on order status and inventory shared with external sources and to update ERP System —entirely without manual intervention. One of the biggest advantages was the flexibility to implement business logic and validations within the BurQ iPaaS portal, reducing the need for extensive customizations in our ERP systems. We haven’t encountered any major downsides or issues with the BurQ platform. However, it would be helpful if the platform offered the ability to design custom email notifications and included options in the BurQ portal to save frequently used filters for easier access. When we first introduced Magento, we considered writing our own intergation tool to link Magento to AX (Our ERP). We eventually decided to go with Burq and we have no regrets. The system is seamless and works in the background 99% of times. Execptions are capured and easy to deal with.

We get several 100s orders a day on our website and send 1000s of stock level updates to the website. All of which sync seemlessly.

If your Magento and your ERP are fairly standard, then the implementation will be straight-forward. If your systems are heavily customized (as are ours), you need to accept that the implementaion will take longer, as the connector will need to be tweaked accordingly. Ours took a number of months. We are using the portal active to monitor transfer between our ERP and our Sales system. The logging function is good, and we are using it to better understand the processe.
