What do you like best about Builder.io?

Builder.io is an incredible tool, and the team behind it has truly made a difference. Mike C, Taylor M, and Tim G in particular, have been amazingly responsive and helpful. The product's constant evolution with updates every 2-4 weeks keeps it fresh and cutting-edge. The drop (product newsletter) is a gem, and I often share it with the broader team. Builder.io's receptiveness to feedback through the public idea board is commendable, and some of my suggestions have been implemented into their roadmap. The regular webinars are a valuable resource, and since upgrading to the Enterprise tier, the self-service AB testing has been a game-changer, making it essential to our business growth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Builder.io?

The initial onboarding process can be a bit tough, especially when introducing the platform to new internal business users. However, the Builder.io team has been helpful in assisting us with dedicated lunch and learn sessions, and we've even created our resource center with FAQs and best practices to facilitate a smoother onboarding experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Builder.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

Builder.io offers a solution that allows us to rapidly build page, set up A/B tests, and iterate improvements without extensive technical involvement. We currently leverage Builder.io for marketing and logged-out experiences, and foresee even more growth opportunities as we further explore its potential. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Builder.io?

The platform suits both small teams for rapid prototyping with low-code editing capabilities and can scale nicely to enterprise use cases with their extendable platform. As we grew from a startup to a global enterprise company we were able to adapt the platform and write custom extensions for the specific needs of our platform. I can highly recommend it to companies and teams of any size. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Builder.io?

A few years ago, in the platform's early days, there were some stability issues for our specific use case, but with the team's support, they were quickly resolved. The silver lining is when these issues happened we eventually got on a call with the CTO directly, which really showed us how much the Builder.io team cared about ensuring they had a solid platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Builder.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

The platform enables developers and non-technical teams to rapidly prototype together. The engineers can decide which data can be managed by non-engineers in a drag and drop visual editor and which data is mission critical and should not be editable, if used correctly this can have massive implications for productivity for both technical and non-technical teams. What do you like best about Builder.io?

Builder.io makes it so easy to create a robust, great-looking website. The possibilities with Builder are almost endless - from premade templates to creating interactive elements of my own. Builder allows us to rely less on engineering tickets and has vastly sped up production time for new pages and updates to existing pages. Even our less technically inclined team members are able to create landing pages in Builder. Some of the key things I love about Builder are how easy it is to create a support ticket in whatever page/element I'm working on, all the new product updates they release on a regular basis, the regular webinar series, and playing around with the visual editor AI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Builder.io?

There's a bit of a learning curve for new users. I experienced it myself, and I know others in my organization also have. Time and experimenting with using Builder seem to help, but the help docs could be more robust to help with the learning curve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Builder.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

In the past, new pages or page updates had to go through our engineering team. Builder has allowed those requests to be diverted away from engineering so they can focus on bigger business-impacting projects and has sped up the time between the request to publishing. What do you like best about Builder.io?

Builder.io delivers a great product that enables us to give our team members who are not software developers the power to build stunning and complex websites with minimal need for developer intervetion. As a developer, it was fairly easy to get builder.io up and running and configured in a way that allows our team and our customers to be able to easily build and add changes to websites as they see fit.

The builder.io team is very helpful and quick to respond whenever we need support for something we are not able to figure out on our own. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Builder.io?

There isn't much to dislike about builder. They are constantly adding new features and fixing bugs that may arize. Out customers that we manage within builder love the product as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Builder.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

Builder is allowing us to create a library of components within builder that we can hand off to our non-developer users and customers so that they can builder websites without the needed overhead of constant developer involvement. It steemlines the website building process and frees up developer resources. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Builder.io?

One of the biggest benefits of Builder.io is the capability to fully customize the platform as a headless solution. My team has had several very different applications and website frameworks that were all developed within Builder.io due to it being an extremely flexible and powerful platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Builder.io?

While it isn't necessarily a detractor, the full value of Builder.io is truly in the long-term investment to build your own experience / setup within the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Builder.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

We host several of our brand websites on Builder.io, that see ~40 million visits per year altogether, as well as a few of our web applications. Builder.io is able to support our needs due to the powerful visual editor, meaning we can utilize non-technical resources to complete tasks on that platform, and due to the content models which have been extremely powerful and have allowed us to not rely on other integrations. What do you like best about Builder.io?

The level of support for existing features and collaboration on new ones that Builder.io provides is unheard of for a product this innovative. Builder.io keeps pushing the boundaries of what's technically possible making an authoring experience that promotes creative collaboration between non-technical authors and engineers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Builder.io?

Engineers used to doing everything in isolation need to switch mindsets and share the work with non-technical authors. This can be an adjustment too far for some, but also exactly the point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Builder.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

We needed a solution that offered non-technical authors the ability to quickly and easily update various websites without waiting for engineering support, but also that didn't kneecap the engineers technically, allowing a plentitude of potential technical implementations and capacities best suited for the project at hand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- Great support

- Incredible Uptime

- Integration with custom React Components where additional functionality is needed

- Great team of folks to work with

- Open Source Contributions (i.e. Partytown, Qwik, Mitosis, etc.) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Builder.io?

- Custom integrations have a bit of a steep learning curve

- The Visual Editor can be a little buggy from time to time

- It's so easy to edit, structured data becomes forgotten, which can make scalability difficult Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Builder.io solving and how is that benefiting you?

We believe so much in what Builder provides for managing our content that we've started using it to push webviews into our native mobile applications. Building new landing pages no longer requires any kind of developer intervention, so we're able to move very quickly and test lots of new ideas often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
