BrainCert Pros and Cons

I began using BrainCert while studying for my CPA exam using I-75. Regarding just the platform BrainCert, my experience was great. All the information was in one hub and easily accessible. The integrated slides were great and the videos were always good quality with little buffering and included 1.25x, 1.5x, and 2x playback speed. Paying for courses is very easy, and can easily go through Paypal or card. Cancelling subscriptions is also very simple. I do have some caveats for the platform. Although my overall experience was great, there are a few things that could be improved on. The practice exams did not run very smoothly. I tried FireFox and Chrome but there was significant delay in loading time for the questions. I also think the platform logs you out after some time, which can be inconvenient if you've been on a set of slides for a while. Logging in multiple times a day can be a little annoying. The platform is easy to set up and use from both the instructor and trainee viewpoints. They also have excellent customer support. Gamification is a great feature we absolutely adore. It comes with custom badges and rules that greatly helping our learners engaged and motivated. Role-based navigation and group specific interface language is great for multi-lingual audience. Platform setup is easy and quick to learn. The content library helps us upload all the documents, videos, images, and pdf, which we can load in the course platform, test platform, and virtual classroom.

Audio and video are seamless in live classes. The live class recording feature is an advantage for the students as classes can be viewed anytime.

We tested over 10 LMS platforms and settled with BrainCert Enterprise LMS product for their excellent Virtual Classroom software, courses, and assessment platform, which we use daily to deliver self-paced and live training. What we liked about BrainCert is the ease in which we can customize registration fields and onboard users without any pain points. We also like the ability to organize users in Groups and enforce specific permissions using Roles. BrainCert offers hundreds of valuable integrations to connect to our OneDrive, Google Docs, and CRM system. It stands out for visual collaboration using its interactive whiteboards and virtual classroom software to deliver webinars, team collaboration, and live customer training. I have recently started a money management course via my LinkedIn profile and I wanted to share awareness among the young generation and the newly employed with all aspects of money management. It includes long term investment in stock market and mutual funds, bond market and money market related stuffs, retirement plans, child plans, selecting the best health/term insurance, setting up emergency funds, selection and judiocus use of credit cards and recently I started to venture in cryptos. I've initially used Google Meet and classroom platforms for the process. It was comfortable initially when the incumbents were a few in numbers. But, it felt difficult to handle all aspects when the enrolments had shoot up. Later I switched to Microsoft Teams and had an even terrible experience since, most of my incumbents are new to teams. Later, my friend suggested me to use the Braincert platform. I hesitated at the beginning considering the scalability factor and ever since I stated using it, it felt tailor made for my requirement. Their virtual class room as a service assisted and improved my interaction with all incumbents. Their e-learning platform assisted me to restructure my course and made me able to differentiate between my regular and comprehensive course. This helped me to sell my basic course at a lower rate and thereby increasing my subscription. By this model, I could also convert my best incumbents to my comprehensive course, eventually allowing to sell a higher margin product. Their tools such as enterprise lms and meeting rooms aided for the proper distinction between my regular and comprehensive course. I didn't disliked anything in particular. I would like to see many more functions to be added in the platform. I see a huge potential in integrating other softwares into the platform. For instance, to provide hands on training, I'm currently using the meeting rooms. But, I would be pleased if the platform could integrate my course related softwares such as stock broker software directly to the platform and it would be game changing if the platform could allow my incumbents to practice alongside me by using the same software through integration. This allows me to provide trail hands on learning sessions. At a longer perspective, I would also like to see the platform being able to serve any kind of e-learning platform as a tailor made solution for them as if shopify is currently serving for the new era e-commerce businesses. User-friendly LMS helps us to get along with the platform very quickly. Course creation, conducting tests with the help of their Virtual Classroom, which helps in monitoring the students during exams, is handy. It is very simple to onboard students, create groups, and assign courses/tests. The virtual classroom allows us to interact with students, which helps us to stay in touch during COVID times. I've been using BrainCert LMS for the last two years to train my remote employees. The platform is user-friendly, and because of its intuitiveness, my team of learners finds it easier to use than the last platform we used. Braincert provides four products and you can choose any product as per your need, and the pricing again would depend on the product you opt for, although they offer a free trial with basic functionalities. We can upload any PDFs and Documents and use them while presenting . We thrived to conduct paperless digital sessions and have received excellent feedbacks from employees. The UI is pretty complex, and you need at least a month to get used to the functionalities; setting up user/admin roles, in particular, consumes a lot of time. I would like to play videos at 1.75 speed, I would like to do less clicking to get to what I need (I have to click through ~5 screens to get to my content which is wild), I would like an app!
