I like the connectivity for collaboration that it offers. The search function is superior to Google Drive, which we used previously. I also like that permissions attach to the folder tree and cascade down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is a complex system and takes considerable time to learn. I am now learning it's true value but at first, it was a bit challenging to understand the folder architecture. The UX isn't great, either. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sharing files and folders has never been easier. Box also integrates with MS office and you can share at a click of a button. The best thing is that you can manage who can have access to your files and folders. You can allow user certain levels of access. such as viewer, contributor and/or editor. I like Box because you can access anywhere you have internet. Our business uses it all the time for our storage - eliminated file cabinets! We can share notes in the folders, notifications, easy to upload into. The other thing I like is that for personal use it has way more storage for a basic account than other cloud files. I like everything about box. It might be unfamiliar to some people so they might be wary to open. Unfortunately my company uses Dropbox because it is more approved by our IT department. I think if box had more awareness, especially in a business sphere, it could generate a lot more clientele. Right now I think Dropbox is beating them in brand awareness. We saw the most value from Box when we needed to collaborate files such as PowerPoints to external customers and partners. Box has a unique ability to allow to store files but also edit them in real time without having to download file, edit and repeat. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
