What do you like best about Bonterra Case Management (formerly Apricot)?

I like the fact that it has a flow, for an intake and an exit from one step to another. Previously it was necessary to hunt and peck specific category in order to close out a client, or do an intake. It's very evident that the most recent changes in the last 3 to 4 months have helped tremendously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonterra Case Management (formerly Apricot)?

I find getting a external review or an external referral to input is still a daunting task. Once the initial steps on new client workflow have been satisfied I find it's very helpful, but there should be an better more adequate method to establish a clients ID in the system, a more user-friendly or more accessible method than what exists at this time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Bonterra Case Management (formerly Apricot) solving and how is that benefiting you?

What do you like best about Bonterra Case Management (formerly Apricot)?

Building reports and entering information is easy once it becomes clear how to use this tool.

The updates to some records have helped tremendously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonterra Case Management (formerly Apricot)?

Searches are really slow after 1 pm.

The total number of duplicate profiles is incredible, I would like a merge option to be available for admins locally, as this process takes weeks sometimes.

if the DOB is approximated or unavailable in the Tier one file, the ICI won't save unless I put a value in there, the problem is that someone later would need to come back and fix that DOB even if this information is never made accurate.

Searching for a name occasionally returns nothing, when creating a tier one profile, there will be a duplicate profile populated, why is it inconsistent in returning that profile?

Relationships, okay, sometimes if you click on the open this profile button it doesn't work unless you select the ICI and the person, other times its just buggy and will never populate, even if I copy the Record ID number and search that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Bonterra Case Management (formerly Apricot)?

We love the customizability of the database, and ability to create new forms and reports as our services evolve or new funder requirements arise. It has significantly streamlined the process of meeting our reporting requirements for grants. Staff find out very intuitive and user friendly. It is easy to onboard direct services staff with minimal end-user training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonterra Case Management (formerly Apricot)?

I wish the customer support were as customized as the database itself! At the basic support package level, support requests are text base and go to general customer support staff who are not familiar with the nuances of our customized database. Higher level support packages are prohibitively expensive. It would be SO helpful to have limited access to the original implementation specialist who knows the configured database best. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Bonterra Case Management (formerly Apricot) solving and how is that benefiting you?

Bonterra Case Management makes it easier to identify unique individuals utilizing services. It makes it much easier to track utilization across different programs and funding streams and generate reports by type of service, funder, or other criteria (i.e., language spoken, age, medical diagnosis, etc.). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Kathleen Connelly of Bonterra Case Management (formerly Apricot)

Hello, thanks a ton for your detailed feedback! We're so happy that our customizable database is streamlining your grant reporting and making it easy to track multi-program service utilization. We truly appreciate your thoughts about our support packages and access to implementation specialists - it's vital for us to hear from partners like you. I'll be sure to share your concerns with our support team - we're actively working to improve our support model while maintaining affordability for organizations like yours doing vital work.

What do you like best about Bonterra Case Management (formerly Apricot)?

We are able to develop and plan around what information we wish to gather and then build those forms and reports to reflect it. It puts it all in one place for all our employees to use and find - then when it comes time to write or re-write grants, can quickly pull the information out and apply it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonterra Case Management (formerly Apricot)?

When working with form logic, there isn't a shortcut. For example, I want to have the ability for an employee to say they worked with 10 people during an event. When they fill out the form and select 10 people, I had to manually go in and write the logic of opening 10 boxes. Each had to be true about 1 through 9 people as well. There is no way to duplicate the logic or have a repeat and each time was the exact same steps just choosing one difference, but having to do the first 4 steps the same nine times over. What problems is Bonterra Case Management (formerly Apricot) solving and how is that benefiting you?

Prior to integrating Bonterra Case Management into our business, we were tracking people by paper, folders, and filing cabinets. Things would get lost, people would be forgetted or missed, and it was cumbersome to extrapolate data for grant writing when that came about. Now we have the ability at a moments notice to ensure our employees are staying on top of their clients, can see the satisfaction rate of our clients, and instead of 8+ hours of gathering data every time for each grant, quickly pull a report down and allow us to do what we do best - help people. Thanks for being a part of the Bonterra community! We can't wait to see the amazing things you achieve.

I really can not think of a down side to using Bonterra, occassional once when you search for a profile, there is a little wait for the fields to populate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Bonterra Case Management (formerly Apricot)?

I like the customaztion of Bonterra 360. I find it easy to use and can adapt to meet our needs. There is a lot of features where we can incorporate and intergrate new agencies and data. I like tier 1 support they offer. Overall, we have multiple agencies wanting to use our site for our accuracy and the capaibility of tracking new fields. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonterra Case Management (formerly Apricot)?

They could offer better features for form and report building. I wish we could actually delete items off the site but we cannot. I wish we could copy the same form entry for multiple clients. Remove unused links from forms. One change I would like to happen now is when you are editing reports - you do not have to click to expand the color customization and the form the field is from. They also take a long time to reply for invoice and some emails. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Bonterra Case Management (formerly Apricot) solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are able to track children entering and exiting foster care and providing legal representation. We also track all hotline calls that occur in the state. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Bonterra Case Management (formerly Apricot)?

The ability to create exactly what we needed and wanted was thrilling. The process was easy because I didn’t have to do it personally. However, the person who did manage it was able to incorporate all our requirements and make it user-friendly for everyone. Although she’s not a tech expert, with Bonterra's help, she successfully built our entire program.

Since we use it every day, we can immediately address any issues or customize it as needed. We transitioned from our old system without any significant problems. The program itself is straightforward, allowing us to train everyone without any major comprehension issues. Even our elderly volunteers can use it without any difficulties.

The integration of this program was seamless. The implementation was also smooth, and everyone has been able to use it as if they have been doing so for years. When we encounter problems, customer support is just a click away. We never have to wait long to get our answers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Bonterra Case Management (formerly Apricot)?

Somehow it would be nice to have a better view for all the important highlights from case notes. A way to read the notes so we can make sure we didn't miss anything. I have already made a suggestion to be able to highlight, bold, underline our service notes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Bonterra Case Management (formerly Apricot) solving and how is that benefiting you?

It is giving us a way to document and keep track of all of our services given. Reporting is a huge problem we had before, more like ACCURATE Reporting. We feel very confident now in the reports we generate through Bonterra that we are getting the right information. It's made a huge difference in grant writing and in reporting to our Executive Board. How when you click to edit a case note or click on it, once you click out. You go back to the start of all the case notes. Its very inefficent for auditing purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I use it for uploading case notes and uploading client documents. It makes checking documents a lot easier and referring to case notes easier than trying to with the physical copies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
