What do you like best about BoardEffect?

The ease of use, organization of materials and document libraries at your fingertips, easily reachable customer service including fantastic response time, training videos and wonderful reference library to address any questions and the ease of accessing the application on a number of platforms (PC, tablet or phone). If you need to tailor your meeting book options and the choice isn't readily available, Tech Support can assist with a variety of options to fit your needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BoardEffect?

The initial formatting of the documents can be challenging. But once they are completed, you can save them into your template library and reference them each time they are needed. There are many hidden tools that may be hard to see at the beginning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about BoardEffect?

Integration was relatively easy, responsive point of contact. Overall it's an easy product on the user side. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BoardEffect?

It would be great to have an option to copying and pasting event information versus having to create them new each time. A user guide that includes detailed instructions on all features would be helpful, too. After implementation I still had lots of questions and it would have been great to have a resource that includes instructions on how to do certain things. A dedicated customer support specialist would be great. I still feel that I don't know a lot of features or how to use them properly.

The time/date format when creating events is a bit tricky.

I love the survey function. It's super easy to use and really helpful when creating questionnaire - would be great to add a matrix question option if possible.

What do you like best about BoardEffect?

BoardEffect is easy for users to access and navigate current packets. It is very easy to drag and drop contents in packets and build board books. The ability to track votes and share information quickly with board/committee members is very nice. The app works nice for users and we really like the security of a cloud based platform that is locked down. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BoardEffect?

Finding past packets/books is clunky and our users struggle to do this. The voting is very tough for most of our board members, so our admins end up voting on behalf of others (at least this is an option) for quite a few of our committee users. We don't even try to use the voting/survey feature with our board meetings because the users struggle way too much to find the tool and then navigate from the voting back to the packet. We also aren't sure why there is a difference between polls and surveys and think the voting process could be simplified. We would like to be able to lock a book once it is published so even an admin can't unlock it since it is then a corporate record. This often happens accidentally because an admin is trying to copy a previous book/packet to build the new packet. This tends to work much easier than using a template, but has its own drawbacks. We would also like to be able to link one book to another without having to copy the entire book and put it in another committee. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about BoardEffect?

Board Effect has provided an efficient and effective solution for distribution of Board materials and have saved me time and energy in preparation for Quarterly Board Meetings. I am able to get materials to Trustees and Members for various Boards and subcommitees, ensure that we are HIPPA compliant, and can update and substitute said materials instantly. We are saving time and resources and paper and ink as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BoardEffect?

Unfortunately, I am unable to use the Minutes feature at this time based on the need for using our own template but look forward to being able to change or add our own templates down the line. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about BoardEffect?

The template feature is probably my favorite for saving time when laying out each meeting. I also like the ability to create docusigns that I know are secure for my board members to review, comment on, and approve with a signature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about BoardEffect?

Only being able to view and save approvals once is frustrating and does not always work on my computer. I often have to log in to the app to do it which makes saving it to my pc much more time consuming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
