We are in the process of transitioing from BoardPaq to BoardEffect. The support team has been very helpful explaining the features of BoardEffect and answers our questions to customize BoardEffect to our needs. The migration tool that we used to transfer all of our content from one platform to another was very helpful to integrate our existing materials and data. I absolutely adore using BoardEffect for my work. Its just so darn convenient and easy to use. Adding the tools to our current systems was a piece of cake and it markedly improved our work processes. BoardEffect is our goto for scheduling meetings organizing agendas and securely sharing documents with everyone. The seamless communication it fosters has made a huge contribution to our boards efficiency enabling us to make decisions more quickly. BoardEffect should make its app look better by offering more customization options. Right now it is only made for basic board tasks. But if it could change how it looks and works to match what we want, it could work a lot better for us. The libraries feature is helpful to house documents that can be readily accessible to board directors and organizes Work Rooms well. The platform is user friendly, but this may speak to the platform only having very basic functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a good platform to house important documents for board members, but lacks ingenuity when creating board packages and meeting books. For example, if you upload a document under the wrong subcategory, it is not simple to move it to another subcategory - instead of being able to drag the document up and down in the agenda, you have to delete and reupload the document under the correct heading.
