Board Effect is a great solution to keep track of board documents. We have used it for a few years now, but we were especially grateful for the product during the pandemic this year. All board members could access the board information easily and quickly. If we had to have an emergency meeting, we were able to gather and create a board book without difficulty. We also use the product for our Foundation and Friends Boards and for our executive and director meetings. I highly recommend BoardEffect for anyone with boards. The biggest drawback is if you make an edit to a document you must re-upload the document. You can't open the uploaded document and edit it in the board book. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Antiquated, clunky, and slow system, that most of our board members refuse to use (meaning they continue to email the board liaison for all their needs). Also expensive for what it is.
