Blue Cherry Gets the Job Done **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Mauro B. | Head of Information Technology, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** January 31, 2018 **What do you like best about BlueCherry Suite?** The product though complex has the power to really centralize the Design, sales, production, EDI, invoicing, returns...everything a garment manufacturer needs to run their business **What do you dislike about BlueCherry Suite?** The documentation is not as complete as it should be. - Connectors often seem to be created for a specific customer, and then CGS appears to sell it as a completed product but then wants to charge you to do a modification to make the connector work as needed. I had this happen with the Shopify Connector and then with the NuOrder connector. - The CSC product has been YEARS in trying to implement, even after paying for various modifications and then finding out other issues that do not work. My team seems to constantly be in a place where we need to submit cases to CGS, and it just never ends. Always one issue after the other. We need to have someone dedicated to only supporting Blue Cherry internally, and this is not the way it should be. **Recommendations to others considering BlueCherry Suite:** I recommend ensuring you have a very well laid out implementation plan and that you know your business and processes very well. Once bad data starts going into any system, it can get very hard to straighten it out. If you don't understand your business and how it meshes with Blue Cherry in how it is setup and used, then you could end up adding some pains to your transition. If you have a good plan and processes are streamlined and understood by non-siloed teams, then you should be ok. **What problems is BlueCherry Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have really been able to handle large orders, have been able to mesh the product development into the system, and are also now able to push product out to an integrated B2B eCommerce solution. UPDATE: - We have moved away from the B2B/Threadvine integrated product, not because we had issues with it, but simply our sales team wanted to move to NuOrder instead for the marketplace. Blue Cherry is robust enough to scale up with us as we grow, but this is not without various stumbling blocks on the way. ### 2. they allow me to improve multiple areas of my company, such as management, design, and implementation **Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Rogger R. | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.) **Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2020 **What do you like best about BlueCherry Suite?** What I like the most is that it is very easy to use once you have learned to use the software (which I must say is a very simple task), the fact that I can see detailed information about the orders made to my suppliers is a great help for organizing and improving a large number of administrative processes within the company, another point in their favor is that it has a wide range of options that allow me to improve multiple areas of my company, such as management, planning, design, and implementation, their customer service team is quite responsive and quick to answer any questions or concerns that arise, which guarantees that I can make quite a smooth use of this application without fear of losing so much time in case there is any failure. **What do you dislike about BlueCherry Suite?** I think it has some processes that contain a large number of unnecessary steps, at least in the sales registration part, they ask for a large amount of information that in the end turns out to be unnecessary, so this could be greatly simplified. **What problems is BlueCherry Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** It has been helping me to improve in a quite general way all the internal processes of my company, so that I can optimize them more efficiently, which helps us reduce execution and response times to customer requirements, not to mention that it also helps us maintain better order and control of the activities developed in the company. ### 3. It causes the program to be unresponsive and creates a delay. **What problems is BlueCherry Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** I am mainly using Visual Next to fulfill customer orders. The program also keeps a detail records of product stock levels. Using Visual Next helps me save time and stay organized when completing these tasks. ### 6. I had used other plm softwares in the past and this one is by far the easiest one. **What do you dislike about BlueCherry Suite?** The customization process can be a bit hard. **What problems is BlueCherry Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?** All in one for apparel manufacturers. We used system to autocreate tech packs for all cuts. We were able to upload construction sketches, issue cut numbers and extract graded measurements. ### 7.
