As a Blender user, I can't help but brag about its pros, and believe me, there are many. As much as I love Blender, and it is fantastic program for learning and working on standalone projects, you should be aware that it is not consodered the industry standart, but it is improving all the time.

Sometimes it can be a bit buggy. It's always good to be prepared for occasional bug.

What I personally don't like are the collision simulations, they behave very unpredictably.
