What do you like best about Blackboard?

Learn with the new update to Ultra is a great improvement with stability and flexibility. Awesome, improvement on the course design with flexibilty and the AI designer. The UI is very clean and easy to understand. Also with the community support and the idea exchange, customers feel more involved in the evolution of the product. What do you dislike about Blackboard?

I used to dislike the rigidity of learn but with the newest updates it has become a lot better. Still could be more costumizable, hope it keeps improving Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Blackboard?

Ultra, the newest iteration of Bb Learn, is a clean, user-friendly interface for both student and faculty users. The AI Design Assistant is a game changer! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blackboard?

Original is very outdated and clunky; I see significant improvements in Ultra but also throw a caution flag with product development to not make it too complex. I don't like that deployed items can be deleted from the grade center, even if they have submissions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Blackboard?

Blackboard has done an outstanding job aligning the needs of an instructor to those of a student. Ultra has been a great upgrade from Blackboard Original in terms of ease of use, navigation, and screen flexability. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Blackboard?

The main downside is that sometimes students get confused about textbook integrations, even though they are not natively in the Blackboard system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Blackboard has allowed us to serve varied student populations remotely and on campus. We use Blackboard to provide instruction to Prison systems, a law school, a medical school, and online learning offerings from the University Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Blackboard?

The stability! I am a Systems Analyst with a focus on our records management system, and training delivery. Since going live with our new records management system we have never experienced a bug or an issue with the platform. The SSO is flawless and I have never received a call for support in that area. What do you dislike about Blackboard?

Our implementation could use some work and I am planning to redesign some of our interfaces. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Blackboard solving and how is that benefiting you?

We had to cancel almost 20 in-person classes due to some unexpected resignations and thanks to Blackboard we were able to add 10 online synchronous classes with 100 students each and cover our students. All of our clients must have 40 hours of training annually to maintain their employment and without Blackboard we would have been in a mess. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Blackboard?

I sometimes dislike that fact that some chabfges are made and don't give control to the admins to be able to decide to use or not and then sometimes have to be changed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Blackboard?

Blackboard Learn Ultra view is great at cross-platform compatibility between the computer brower, mobile device, and a tablet. Most of the functions on Blackboard are intuitive and easy to use... if not, the help function usually has the answer.
