The implementation went very well, on time and on budget. The support we received during the implementation was very effective and allowed us to deploy the tool in less than 4 months, with very few problems. We quickly improve our invoicing deadline, for issuing and approving invoices at the end of each month. Documentation and online help are amazing, as well as their helpdesk for post go-live support. UI is split between a fat client for backoffice features and a web interface for end-user tasks, which create some confusion for power users. Permission management is not as flexible as we would have liked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The speed of getting credible information from a single source is a huge benefit to our business (versus the past of manual spreadsheets). Projector PSA gives us the ability to manage schedules, utilization, people skills, and project metrics as a key enabler for our business success. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The AAM (Advanced Analytics Module) is difficult to learn and has fundamental limitations. However, I'm excited about the recent announcement of the PowerBI integration to Projector - with this advanced capability, we have added PowerBI Dashboards & Analytics as a business enablement project in our 2020 initiatives.
The SalesForce.Com integration is limited - One SFDC opportunity can only create one engagement with one project via the automated connector instead of being able to create one engagement with multiple projects (according to a standard template). Because of this, we chose to not implement the connector and are manually entering opportunity projects in Projector from an automated SFDC report.
Projector PSA provides Resource Direct Costs (RDC) based on a daily or hourly rate - while this works perfect for hourly paid resources, this does not work well for a salaried resource who is paid an annual salary on a bi-weekly basis. In other words, if a salaried person works more than or less than 40 hours in a week, the cost of those hours are based on an hourly or daily rate instead of a calculated rate based on the number of hours worked divided into their weekly or annualized compensation. Projector is easy to use and has an interactive user interface. It is intuitive and modern. From the admin side, it is simple to set up projects and add/assign resources. If you ever have a problem, support is usually very responsive and can get your problem solved very quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It could be more cost-effective. From a cost per user standpoint, it is competitive... but the minimum number of users doesn't allow us to scale down like other softwares we use do.
Also, it would be nice if there was an option to use the downloadable management side via web browser instead, so you can have multiple tabs open and you can reference each when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Projector makes it easy to get people using it. It's easy to use. And once they're using it Projector makes it easy to view, interpret and report on that data in an intelligent manner Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not a lot! The web element is great! The "old" fat client is not very appealing but it provides the required figures. It's modal design can be an irritating constraint but again the full solution is transitioning to the web so I'm looking forward to the finalised solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We have a tremendous amount of data at our finger tips. The Projector BI platform allows us to slice the data in many ways.
Our engineering consulting company completes time sheets on a weekly basis and we have multiple rather complicated pay structures. The Projector reporting features allow us to review time sheets for completeness and accuracy with ease.
The phone app for time and expense entry is awesome - most of our employees never have to login to the web app. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is no purchasing add-on function. Our company does purchase a lot of small parts and it does not integrate well with Projector. Also, the labor component of the time sheets does not have a connection with our payroll software or our accounting "costs" software (QuickBooks Online). We have found ways to overcome each of these issues, but it is not ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
During the sales, scoping and deployment phase with Projector, they we very knowledgeable about their product and had the deployment down perfectly. This saved us a bunch of wasted time and effort and Projector helped us get to the finish line with no fuss. They are pros at this game and provide the value required to get customers up and running quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing that we disliked about the process or the application. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Projector's time entry is simple and easy to use. As a result of implementing Projector, we no longer have to chase people to enter their time. Why? First because the interface is so intuitive and easy to use. Second because Projector reminds colleagues if they forget to put in their time. Our revenue recognition relies on time data, so timely entry is key to our ability to have an efficient monthly close.
Projector calculates the revenue we can recognize which has also improved our ability to close the month with more accurate and complete data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much! We of course went through some of the normal pains associated with any large system change - in the end we are definitely better off! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Projector PSA is feature rich. It is hard for me to imagine what else it needs, and yet new improvements are constantly added. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Many administrative and advanced reporting techniques require the use of an application that downloads onto a PC or Mac. It is a little cumbersome to work with, especially on the Mac. The good news is we are seeing more and more administrative and reporting features added to the web user interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface between timekeeping, expense reporting and invoicing works great. No missing data before invoicing if steps are worked in order. Also, the expense invoicing has saved us a lot of time by producing invoices with pdf receipts. Pushing transactions over to QB works flawlessly and system tie-outs are easily documented. The reporting takes time to learn and refine. Sometimes feels like data over-load. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Suits most of our business needs out of the box. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Rich Client interface is dated but this is in the process of being replaced with additional functionality moving to the browser with each release. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
