Wide variety of SAS Procedures, functions, and formats. It's a fourth-generation language, so doesn't require long lines of coding.
All industry-required functions/procedures are already available with almost any kind of customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside I could think of is, it's not easy to learn.
And, you might have to get trained by SAS Institute (e-learning/offline) or its accredited training institutes.
You might also require Base SAS & Advances SAS Certifications to prove your efficiency and get a job. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like this system that evaluates all the bases of all. We obtain information efficiently by using the systematized analysis function, thus providing clarification of possible expressions to interpret. For its part, it allows us to establish and share pictorial representations and ideas with the easy-to-exploit corporate observations and understanding tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The capacity of the system is essentially subordinated to the standard paradigms. The technical support they provide is not very astute and is often scarce (conditionally it is not free, there are no different audiences in which we can raise possible problems and solutions). In addition, it is not very perceptive for the consumer and its use is complex at the beginning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Learning SaS Viya through online resources, and the great Support Forum and Team, made this an accessible tool to adopt. I appreciated the ease of use in saving datasets for my own use and to collaborate with peers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Long learning curve and extremely complex nuances to learn. While this can be appreciated for those data analysts who smart backgrounds, it took me a while to learn how to use SaS Viya for simple analyses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is an extremely easy programming language that can be used for all kinds of data manipulation, transformations, statistical analysis, scorecard development, and validation. It provides a comprehensive set of in-built modules and functions for data mining and predictive modeling. The ability query and handle large complex database with ease makes it an excellent tool in the commerical analytical space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The license cost of this software is high as compared to other software/tools in the same sphere. SAS only supports basic machine learning algorithms, which is a significant drawback while working on predictive modeling. SAS doesn't provide good support while working on textual and unstructured data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
