One of the companies I set this up in accidentally delete over $100,000 worth of 3D models on a project. I had set up Backblaze with restic to take 24hr snapshots and was able to recover all of their work within an hour.

Their pricing model is awesome. The drive stats that they publish have guided several decisions when implementing storage for clients and my own company. Their pricing is extremely reasonable.

To be honest I have not found much to dislike. Its very much a fire and forget system. Check your backups to make sure they are being performed properly at least once a month but thats about it.

The personal backup is very the best thing in the universe, it simple to use, the cost per PC is the lowest of all time because it has a big advantage, UNLIMITED storage! It will be nice to see a version for server unlimited, but I can easy understand why it not exists. Also the transparence and stats share from backblaze it awsome and it help everyone! The only downside it the web interface to restore the backup if you have a lot of data, it a bit slow to use, but just a bit of patience and it work very well. Also the B2 request seems a bit slow compare to other one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's transparent to me. It seems to work. I never tried to do a restore, but they swallowed a whole lot of data from my PC. Took a while, but now the incremental changes are super quick and do not seem to affect my performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

User interface could use some improvement, but nothing terrible. In terms of the larger product, I'd love if they had better sample script for use with something like Duplicity rather than making us write scripts. Something that pre-cans the standard 24 hourly, 7 daily, 4 weekly, 12 monthly, etc. This can be written up by us, but it would be nice if there was some hand holding.
