The ease of use and maintaining a SQL Server host. Azure portal gives you varied options at a go and you dont have to delve deeper to understand its usage. Create a VM (which is super fast), setup your IIS and you are good to go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I initially had trouble browsing through and connecting my IIS to the domain resource group in the portal. After browsing for a while and deleting and recreating my resource group, I was finally able to get it setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Love being able to create my own http request functions. This feature adds a lot of functionality to other products like Nintex because I can finally write more complex functions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Many Microsoft tutorials I have found online do not work or are missing steps. I had to follow 8 different tutorials to get bots working in teams. And even then it still took trail and error to fill in the gaps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The thing I like the best about Azure Portal is the sheer amount of management and configuration options that is contains. Not only that, but the ability to see and report on all aspects of our Azure deployment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I dislike is that often times the complexity can be overwhelming. Often times it is difficult to determine where to go to address the concern at hand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Azure portal is web based UI allows you to manage cloud resources and user access to these. Different color themes will help to customize it as it is comfortable for you. Customizable dashboards will help to see all required resources and some basic information on single page. Good solution for deployment of single resource and adjust some properties of existing ones. Great Azure Active Directory managing experience, forms are intuitive and lets you quickly manage your users and applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
totally unusable for mass deployment of resources, you will have to use ARM templates and PowerShell or Azure CLI for it. Does not allows access to deep tuning of some resources, not a concern it is even helpful, that unexperienced staff will not break anything, but can be annoying sometimes. Not very good UI responce, portal can work slo Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Azure portal is a main tool of managing your Azure subscriptions and resources deployed there. After switching to Resource Manager new version of portal looks very good. UI is very intuitive and can be used without lots of problems even if you see it for a first time. Portal is changes frequently, new features becomes available. With the last version of this you don`t have to use old and not very comfortable portal anymore. Customizable dashboards allows you to see all required information on main page without digging to resources. Different color themes can be used in different light conditions. Dark theme is also usable if you are working at night in dark room, your eyes will not be very tired. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lots of graphical elements and animations makes UI not very responsible, and it can be frustrating. Not very good for bulk changes, you`d better you PowerShell and Azure CLI for these. Some features could be done only in command line tools, so portal is not a universal solution for all your needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It works, and this is good!!! You can use portal for single resource deployments and configuration management. Also great tool for access management bases on pre-configured user roles. Allows to access different Azure AD tenants without opening new browser tabs or windows. You can download ARM templates for your resources, and in case you will need to deploy these one more time, you can automate the deployment by using this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
UI is very slow, doing a lot of thing can be painful, no mass deployments using UI are possible. Portal is changing very often and rapidly, so you can not find needed elements after returning from vacation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The power and quantity of tools offered by Microsoft. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI is what I dislike most. It is horrible. It feels like it is one of those things that Microsoft can never get right. As much as I use and support Microsoft, I wish they would modernize their products to match the competition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Like Azure Portal, because it will not allow unexperienced staff to ruin your infrastructure. You just need to set up appropriate locks on your resources. All fine tuning for your resources is not available through the portal, and works mostly via Powershell. Good UI, several themes available, so you can customize portal looks as you like. Flexible dashboards will help you to show most critical resources and metrics on home page, without digging in properties. Informative description for resources in marketplace allows you to pick what you need without going through bunch of documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Works good only in English, national languages has some issues with page layouts. Not very responsible UI Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
