The best Part of Azure Portal is resource management. One can create, view, manage and delete all the resources they have created. Without the Azure portal, it is really a nightmare to handle all the resources in azure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The recommendations in the Defender Service is not accurate, sometimes you don't need to apply some recommendation because you are doing the task in another tool or in a different way. and the Defender does not let you mark the recommendation as not applicable with the comment that you are mitigating the risk in other way. The GUI of the Azure portal makes it the best to use platform for all Admins as well as non-admins and also better than other competitors. Two-factor authentication makes it more secure. Also, the ease to create modify VM's, Storage, etc or any resources is the best. Data replication is just another best thing in azure which can be done within few clicks. The biggest issue relates to Microsoft's active directory model. My employees and I found that we had multiple accounts by accident based on how we signed up for Azure. When we initially signed up, it created a Microsoft custom domain to represent our domain. So we couldn't sign up with our actual email address - it was a microsoft.domain address that created painful issues. I spent weeks with different groups at Microsoft to manage and fix it - which was extremely frustrating`. Having used AWS and Google Cloud previously, I can say definitively that as a startup, beware of the complexities as Microsoft is going to be more enterprise-centric. Although we do have multiple options to work within azure, the Azure portal comes in handy due to its GUI. We can easily search for our needed services.
