I like the layout of the portal the best. All the resources that you use most are there on the home screen and the search bar brings out the best results when you want to search for a resource. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't know about other cloud platforms to dislike anything but I would say that sometimes it shows resources that you have related already as still being available. That is a little confusing sometimes because you will be now worried if they are running and will incur a cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The excellent centralization and simple, flexible interface to find what is needed. The additional intuitive relationships between objects and the built-in educational links make it a comprehensive and cost-efficient solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to bounce between tenants and environments is at time a problem - however this has been and is being worked on so is not as much of an issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

By now, we have two services (a BD and a little frontend), and both services are running well, and best of all, are cheap. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Azue pulls together all of our key resources, making access easy and seamless. Login barriers are the primary barrier to using the right resources on a team, and it eliminates it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing! It's been a useful resource with little to no issues. They keep the UI fresh and make periodic changes, all of which have only enhanced the experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Azure has designed their portal for ease of use. Obviously these systems (Azure) tend to get very complex, especially the larger you get. Having a portal that is easy to use once you get the hang of it really helps. If I had to sum it up I'd have to say that it's because they consistenly make all the interfaces similar. For example if you were to deploy a load balancer, or a SQL server, then on prem it would be very different. What's interesting is that Microsoft has designed the interface experience to look similar if you're deploying a Windows VM, or a new Gateway. Yes, they ask different sets of questions to complete the deployment, but the experience is so similar that you don't have to learn something new for each item. Then managing your objects are similar as well. If you're dealing with assigning permissions on a Storage Account, or permissions to a VM Disk, the administrative experience is the same. This consistency allows you to easily manage a large array of objects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its biggest pitfall is that it's really big. So if for example, you are a small shop, and only looking to complete a small task, well then there's a lot you have to learn here. You can't just deploy your SQL server and be done with it. There's a whole bunch of security that you have to be mindful of. But if your team is large enough, and you use Azure for many things, not just one, then you can take advantage of it. But as I mentioned, I would caution small shops looking to get something done quickly, you may find yourself in a situation that makes you less secure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

When it comes to keeping tabs on critical resources and doing thorough monitoring of all accessible assets, the Azure portal is your best bet. The Azure interface includes functionality for managing Azure resources and restricting access based on predetermined criteria. If you use the site, you may have access to these resources. In a short period of time and with little effort, you can manage a huge number of resources and keep track of how each service is being used. This may be possible with little effort. By using Azure, you have access to a wealth of tools that may be used toward shoring up your network's defenses. Additionally, several databases of various types may be used during the learning process. On top of that, it may be linked to a wide variety of third-party systems. All of our needs can be met and then some with the resources it provides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When the gateway is operating slowly, the amount of time it takes for each of the resources to load might be painfully long. In other circumstances, such as when establishing a network, the amount of time necessary to complete the task at hand may be rather large. It is reasonable to anticipate a period of time during which the structure and procedures of the documentation library will need to change. When a user is accessing the portal for the first time, they may not know where to start searching for a certain policy or parameter to set. This is especially likely if this is their first time using the portal. It's possible that this drives them absolutely crazy. It is important to identify any usability problems that may exist with the UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Azure portal is a one-stop shop for everything related to your cloud infrastructure. You can easily create new databases, storage folders, servers, and security policies from a single screen. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's very easy to get lost in the portal. There are SO many different modules and settings that, oftentimes, you can feel overwhelmed. When first starting out in Azure Portal you may not know where to go for seemingly simple tasks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
