Axcient Pros and Cons

It takes snapshots at scheduled intervals. If systems goes down, you can bring it up in VM and continue to work. I've been workign with Axcient's (formerly eFolder) products for more than 20 years and have nothing but the best to say about the products and solutions. It's also a very good platform for partners. When I mount a volume I wish I could just copy and paste files add opposed to just downloading a zip file. It would be great if I could just copy the files I need into the location I need them in. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Super easy to setup and doesn't require a lot of attention once intial configuration is complete. I haven't had to call support for x360 Cloud but we have created support cases for x360 Recover and support was good. Honestly, it is hard for me to find something I dislike. :) Early on, you had to have an on site appliance, which was an expensive item, but that has now been addressed with the ability to backup "direct-to-cloud". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Searching for files is extremely fast. If you need to recovery a specific document, or even just find that document it may be faster to check the backup than search in the native MS enviornment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The dashboards in Axcient are a little confusing, and sometimes start getting circular. It's not the worst UI but it could stand to be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It's the best and least obtrusive online backup I have found. Always sinks quickly when you reconnect to the internet so you don't have to worry about incomplete backups. Love the high level of security as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Axcient X360 is a great product.

It works without fault. We're backing up some big customers O365 environments and never get any failures or concerns.
