i have been working with AWS import/Export Snowball for 1-2 years it works really smoothly while scaling up your infrastructure and as we all know that in today's world so much huge amount of data is generated by so many smart devices which we need to transfer to the cloud for doing analysis and other types of computations , and also one of the challenge is verity of data which is generated daily and the best thing is we can able to solve the above listed problems very easily and efficiently by using AWS import/Export Snowball , it's one of the best suitable service for our IOT solutions which may generate PB's of data ! ! Earlier Moving terabytes and petabytes of data into the cloud can be challenge for many businesses but new feature of aws called AWS snowball made it so much easier , It's the fastest way to transfer Huge amount of data to cloud , it's transfer protocol is very reliable and secure to use , as it provides data very fast we can also used it for real time analysis for our IOT solutions and it's also very easy to integrate , here all data are encrypted end to end it's very easy to use with snowball appliances(it's the ship able physical storage device) , this device takes care about all the logistics for you to sort of simplify that process of getting your data shipped between two destinations and it has it's own label too.. !! Our company recently used Snowball to help a client transfer a massive amount of data from one location to another and also to the cloud. We had not used snowball before and didn't realize there was an actual device that would be shipped but it was like Christmas when it arrived. Our team was able to help the client transfer their data in hours -- something that would have taken weeks or months if we had take another approach or used a different device. There wasn't anything our team disliked, aside from the shipping delays caused by weather to actually get the snowball delivered but that was more of a mother nature issue than an Amazon one Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Some of the tutorial info is bloated and unnecessary. It would be nice to use some of the tools meant for new users without having to sit through each and every step that is written for newcomers to cloud management. I have also talked to users that are multi lingual, and they have said that some of the instructions do not translate very well. It's very cost effective solution for transferring data , and you can transfer many types of data i.e (video , audio , analytical) , it's very easy to attach with local network and then by using Client you can transfer selected files to the devices in encrypted form!!
