AWS Auto Scaling Pros and Cons

AWS Auto Scaling excels at efficiently managing resources. What I dislike about AWS EC2 Auto Scaling is it's unpreditable cost Fluctuations.Additionally, AWS Auto Scaling is designed to help control costs by automatically adjusting resources based on demand, it can sometimes lead to unpredictable cost fluctuations. There are few drawbacks with AWS Auto scaling on real time environment like :

i. The infrastructure needs to be monitored regularly with some automations services like cloudwatch or pagerduties to get the alert during the requirement of scaling.

2. Its features involved-You can scale your servers horizontally or vertically.

3.We can integrate it with load balancers and cloudwatch to track the metrics. The traffic will be directed to load balancer and under lb there will be a autoscaling group of instances which will scale according to max and desired size defined in the configuration.
