Autotask PSA allows for stream lining of our helpdesk processes by creating Speed codes and checklists. This has allowed us to standardize how are tickets are coded for billing as well as allowing all Technicians to follow the same processes for frequently used tickets and tasks. This allows for a standard way for things to be done as well as allowing for a smooth hand off mid-task if neccessary due to illness or unexpected absences. The extensive KB articles are also very helpfull when trying to get support in creating workflow rules and other complicated automations. The invoices still retain the IT feel in their formating and presentation to the client, but they are still clearly laid our and present the required information, just in a older generation style to modern invoicing as found on products such as XERO. It is very useful for us regarding real time updates of our personnel to track and verify each schedule for each ticket. For the Implementation since we are new on Autotask and not familiar with its features that will be applicable to our company, we encountered some delay on it. For the Customer support our Admin easily received resolution on the problem that we logged. Everday I used Autotask to our ticketing. For the Integration this was primarily handled by our Admin. We were intially disappointed that Kaseya had purchased Datto/AutoTask, and our hesitation was warranted at the beginning of the transition. They (Kaseya) have since moved away from the things that many hated about doing business with Kaseya and have adopted many of the things that made AutoTask/Datto a superior choice, such as flexible spending and no long term contracts. There is an open API platform that is easy to use to build custom solutions to either track tickets or automate certain elements of the software.
