Drawing Markup and Measuring Capabilities Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I really like the project main page that has all of the section short cuts on the left hand side. Other software I am reuired to use on other projects have the shortcuts hidden or behind other dropdown menus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been a bit frustrated with the filter function and the dropdown sections. This could be a lack of training but differnt general contractor use the fucntion differently and I feel like I ahve to relearn the project each time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I find the submittals section very helful and intuitive when sending in shop drawings. One of the benefits of this section is the ability to find up to date information for other subcontractors submittals that have a bearing on our portion of the project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Schedule section I find the least helpful in that it is an area to upload a gantt chart which is a snapshot in time and it would be more useful if it was live updating. This would give the Owner, GC and Subcontractors a realtime view of the project enabling faster and better informed desicion making.
The onlt downside to using ACC is that some GC's do not pay for the license to access the software and when smaller subcontractor companies are asked to use it this can be an expensive cost. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Automatic versioning and the ability to be automatically notifieed when a new version is uploaded is critical, particularly where architectural changes occur. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The online viewer is a mixed bag - perfect for drawings and BIM data, but noticeably weaker with multi-page documents such as PDF where an expected Page Up/Down response scrolls the screen rather than the file and you're relegated to either using buttons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

All queries, drawings, Revit models, and other files can be easily uploaded to the cloud for sharing with colleagues and other trades for access and review. Navigating through different tabs to locate files is simple. We use this system in our daily projects, as all our projects are stored in the cloud. Collaborating on models is very easy, thanks to the integration with other trades’ models. Overall, the process of creating the central file and working with it is very easy to implement. Currently, nothing requires improvement. If I find anything, I will certainly inform the team. The customer review and feedback option is a great way to connect with the relevant team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I do enjoy the collaboration space and review capacity for files and drawings within Autodesk Construction Cload & Autodesk Build. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The metadata capacities for ACC & Autodesk Build are at the same time lacking and too restrictive.
An example of the metadata being lacking is the lack of a Revision Number field for drawings stored in the sheets field. Revisions start at rev 0 for construction, but versions start at version 1, since they count from 1 up... so as you can see a revision number and a version number could never correctly be represented via purely metadata.
A second shortcoming that is related to being too restrictive would be the submittal workflow area always requiring a submittal to be associated with a specification. I've been informed that the work-around for a workflow that does not have an associated specification that you could chose a generic un-used specifciation, however it seems very applicable to allow for the disengagement of a submittal with the requirement to have specification assocation. What is most beneficial that I use on the daily from Autodesk is the ablitiy to store large files and have easy access to them when I need and a touch on a botton. Uploading files are quick and easy. I can access them from anywhere, even when I need to travel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike having only access to 80 files at a time on my desk top. I use a massive amount of files each day and would like more than 80. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I find most impressive about Autodesk Construction Cloud is.

Project Management Tools. Planning and Scheduling AND Task Management Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The platform’s extensive features can be overwhelming for new users, requiring significant time and effort to learn and become proficient ;) . Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like how everything (forms, RFI's, sheets, model) is all integrated into one place. Linking these attributes together helps to ensure everyone is on the same page, and clearly helps to bridge knowledge gaps to subcontractors or internally. The way the site is set up is intuitive (column headers on the side) and easy to use. In addition, the customer support is helpful and attentive (follows up on status of an issue). Setting up a project with the correct permissions, logic ties, etc. can be time consuming. When a subcontractor wants to join, sometimes having all these options and subcatagories (what a sub can do in ACC, cant do, etc) can be confusing. One example, I was trying to get the subcontractor on the model, and it said they didn't have permission the only way (seemingly) to grant them is to make them project admin which isn't ideal. After 30 days their "trial" expired which created a new issue of absolutely no access. After an hour of self-troubleshooting, I had to alter specific permissions to a single file (in the midst of a bunch of files) to grant them access again. This process wasn't intuitive at all, and that's the downside of being able to manipulate every little detail, its hard to find the root cause of issues when they arise. ACC impoves BIM workflows in terms of design, coordination and review. It is easy to use, easy to implement, easy to integrate in project workflows... Moreover, it permits working on several projects at the same time, shifting easily between them. The different modules that it offers generate great value for every project, solving model coordination, bill of quantities extraction... and overall project management. The tool of Model Coordination has a strong innitiative behind but still has workflows to be improved. To be useful, it should be more similar to the user experience of Navisworks. As a user, sometimes I feel limited managing the coordination of a project through this module and I tend to abandon it and use Navisworks instead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
