Autodesk Construction Cloud is easy to use, even for teams with mixed tech experience, which makes training and daily use smooth. Setting it up is straightforward, and their customer support is quick and helpful when questions come up. Most teams end up using it frequently because it combines so many tools in one place. It’s packed with useful features—from document control to model coordination—that really streamline construction workflows. Plus, it integrates well with other Autodesk tools and common industry software, so everything works together seamlessly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Autodesk Construction Cloud can feel overwhelming at first because of the sheer number of features and modules. While it’s powerful, some users find certain parts of the interface a bit clunky or not as intuitive as they'd like. Customization options can be limited, especially for tailoring workflows to fit unique project needs. Occasionally, integration with non-Autodesk tools isn’t as smooth as expected. Lastly, the cost can be high for smaller firms, especially if they don’t need the full range of tools included in the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about Autodesk Construction Cloud is how seamlessly it brings together various aspects of construction management in one platform. It improves collaboration among teams by providing centralized access to plans, documents, and data. The integration of tools like BIM Collaborate and Build streamlines workflows and keeps everyone aligned, reducing delays and misunderstandings. The platform's interface is intuitive, and the reporting features are incredibly robust, making it easier to track progress and make data-driven decisions. It's a game-changer for staying organized and efficient on complex projects Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I find challenging about Autodesk Construction Cloud is that, while it's a powerful platform, it can be a bit overwhelming for new users due to its extensive features and capabilities. The learning curve might be steep, particularly for teams without prior experience with similar tools. Additionally, the cost can be a concern for smaller companies, as it might not be as accessible for those with tighter budgets. I also think there’s room for improvement in the integration of certain third-party apps to enhance workflows even further Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What i like the most about Autodesk Construction Cloud is the fact that you can work in group while everyone sees your changes. Also, i really like that you can open different types of documents like word, AutoCAD, Excel, photos, rvt, etc. With that, i don't need to open a hundred apps on my desk so that i can view different types of documents. And, you can view all the layers that the document has one by one, i think that's very helpful and has save me a lot of time at work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing that i don't like about Autodesk Construction Cloud is that some documents that you create, get locked and you have to unlock many times, i don't like that Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I use Autodesk Construction Cloud regularly and find it pretty seamless and easy to integrate into our workflow. The more frequent you use it, the more useful it becomes.
Having models in the cloud is less resource intensive and by that token faster and more efficient.
Having one place for all documents is really helpful.
No need to send/ receive pdf files, markups or even models.
Everything is in one place.
A single source of truth.
Customer support has been very helpful when I have needed it.
The projects that we have implemented ACC into run much smoother overall. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When another firm has set up the project it can be difficult to get started if permissions are not set up properly. Not being able to manipulate files in a folder assigned to you, or not being able to see the folder structure at all can keep you from getting up and running. As our demands grow for project efficiency and scope flexibility across over 10,000 projects, our Common Data Environment, BIM360 continues to expand with scalable tools and workflows. The base tools continue to be improved and the platform is fully customizable to meet individual stakeholder needs. BIM360 provides us with a singular source of truth environment from which live collaboration can effectively be managed and tracked. The ease of integration with other platforms like Matterport, Bluebeam Studio and Power BI to name a few is valuable to be up and running with little effort. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not really a dislike but our biggest hurdle with BIM360 is the administrative tasks continue to be very manual. Having thousands of projects and thousands of members, we need to be able to manage members and projects across multiple projects more efficiently at once. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For me ACC is very user friendly platform which takes away all day to day burdens of integration tasks with it number of features inbuilt. My documents are very handy with the data. And one amazing option is that all the change logs are available to track the document changes. Its very custom friendly as well to implement. The customer support is amazing where you can reply on them to get the issues resolved in a timely manner. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If you would look at the cost, it would be more attractive and appreciate if you could work on the certain limitations on the access rights to integrate with other tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I’m extremely happy when uploading documents and files that there is a short to no wait time as well as we hen open out a new project. The bridging feature makes is very easy to make sure our team and other companies are on the same page, though i have had some issues with the feature it is currently one of the best things I’ve used on Autodesk. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My main issue is the bridging feature, as much as I like it, I hope to soon see an updated feature that allows a folder and its subfolders to be shared across multiple projects. Also if a folder is bridged, the automation will react to subfolders as they get included and be bridged over as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a company we've been using it for about a year now. I use it every day and love it! It is very easy to use and we use it for all of our BIM projects. Since we have a company subscription and most of our clients use it, it provides a centralized environment to manage all of our BIM Projects. It's very easy to implement on all of our projects. Haven't needed customer support as it's easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Not much to dislike here. Although since all us designers/BIM people have large screens it would be nice to have a darker background. Or at least a switch to go to dark mode. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Autodesk Construction Cloud is a game changer! I love being able to host projects/models on this platform. Distribution of documents is fantastic. It feels super interconnected to everything. Everything is integrated. It's just a really impressive product that feels like it bridges many things that used to feel completely disconnected. It's very simple to use. And we use it for everything now. It's easy to begin using. And it feels well supported. Weconstantly finding new ways to use it. It's just great! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I want to be able to add more people to our projects on ACC. I cannot transmit a document hosted on ACC to someone that does not have an Autodesk seat. Sometimes we have to get the documents to those people. And requiring them to purchase a seat so they can receive our transmittal seems like a little too much to ask. We sometimes end up using the transmittal tool as a tracker rather than how it was intended. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
