As a IT service provider for SMEs, I saw that traditional MFA, although important, didn't remove the risk of account take over (ATO) for our clients.

After researching various solutions, to meet budget requirements, and in order to minimise dependence on hardware security keys (and the associated risks) while providing proven security, we were very happy to find the solution IDEE offer.

It's straight forward to implement and their support are on hand for any specific requests (if you ever need them).

IDEE are a smaller team, which could be seen as a risk. However, it can also be a benefit - they're agile. As they are addressing a serious gap in the market and offer methods to provide resilience , I'm not too worried (their use of Blockchain to remove dependency on their infrastructure in one example).

As we all know user credentials and accounts are the main focus of cyber attacks. Everyone is talking about MFA, but it is often forgotten that the classic MFA solutions using push, OTP, SMS, etc. are not phishing-proof. AuhtN by IDEE has solved this issue perfectly and provides a phishing-proof MFA solution.

In addition to the pure MFA function, it is also easy for the user, because the introduction of AuthN by IDEE also eliminates the annoying work with long passwords that must be constantly changed.

In special situations, I miss some features. But most of the time the user's voice gets heard and the features are added continuously. So I'm pretty sure that the very young product will get better and better over the time from a feature perspective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

You sometimes have to work with the access key for new users when they register with Outlook for the first time (e.g.). Unfortunately, it does not work without the administrator if the user does not have a mobile device. But there is a balancing act between security and user-friendliness. Of course, safety comes first here.

Recent experience: If you have to re-register in GeTIDEE, it is often difficult for the user to understand why. It is also difficult to understand why there have to be several runs. You need a lot of patience to get to your goal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

IDEE ist einfach und schnell eingerichtet. Für jeden einfach zu bedienen. Einrichtung für Microsoft Online ging bei mir ncht mal 15 Minuten. Als Admin alles vorbereiten und dann die User die 8 Schritte durchlaufen lassen und jeder ist glücklich.

Weitere Einrichtung für VPN und EAP kommen noch. Aber sieht genauso einfach aus wie die erse Integration.

Weitere Geräte sind einfach einzubinden. Erstes Notebook zum Anmelden gehen und dann wenn IDEE abfrage kommt einfach unten den Punkt "weitere Geräte" auswählen. QR-Code auslesen mit dem anderen Gerät und Security Check und los geht es.
