Its been 4-5 years of using Audacity and the most major features I used the most is background voice remove and change the audio pitch and base. I have used macros in audacity to do all this stuff in just one click. Audio amplifier filter helps me to amplify the volume without distorted the pitch. Audacity does not have a lot of features required for proper audio mixing and mastering, and even the existing features are not easy to find because of the poor user interface.
