What do you like best about Attribution?

Attribution has many built in integrations that work well if the user has a faily straightforward e-commerce website and is using mainstream platforms like Google Analytics, Hubspot, Stripe etc. It's all fast and easy to setup with little technical knowledge required to get it up and running. The support team is very helpful and quickly responds with a solution to handle most things. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Attribution?

If your use case is less typical, the methods required to get things to work without a built in integration is quite high. There wasn't great documentation around the API and a we required a lot of emails and calls to get certain leads and events to track properly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For custom integrations, noted that we can handle this with customers but it can take effort on both sides to get set up. What do you like best about Attribution?

The onboarding has been so personalized and very helpful. The team has gone above and beyond any cookie-cutter onboarding we are all used to experiencing.

What do you dislike about Attribution?

This is not a dislike, rather something I didn't consider at the beginning.

I was able to easily connect Hubspot without any engineering resources from my team but after seeing the data I learned that I would get a better view if I connected directly to our saas product. This just took a bit more work and involvement from others on my team. It was still easy to do but required developer support I didn't have personally. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ability to change filters, channels, groupings of data is great! You don't feel locked into how you first set it up. The UI is easy to learn! Attribution helps us optimize our marketing efforts every month. The platform provides an in-depth look into how each advertising channel performs and how our marketing budget generates ROI. It's super simple to integrate with our ad platforms, like Facebook and Google, to track and analyze data across all of our marketing channels. What do you like best about Attribution?

I've used Attribution App with 4 or 5 companies of varying sizes & use cases:

- The UI is accurate with the data inputs

- The API seems sturdy based on my Reverse ETL projects.

- The WH Export feature is great if you have higher volume data that you'd like to model in a more hands-on way.

- The integrations make cost imports easy for tools like Google ads, Bing, Facebook, etc.

- The technical support has been awesome to work with on all the projects I've been on - ESPECIALLY Serge & Cameron!

- If you connect with them they'll help you figure out how to address your custom needs a majority of the time -- when they can't help they'll put you in touch with someone who can.

- For a lot of implementations I was able to test in a Sandbox account before the live upload so that I could test and know for sure the tool was set up correctly.

- Great compatibility for companies using Segment CDP.

- Very easy to implement (even easier with Segment). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Attribution?

- I recall having some issues with the LinkedIn ads cost integration though I think a lot of people have trouble with LinkedIn Ads API in general

- This is a rare issue but for higher volume companies (and by high I mean like 40M visits per month or higher) the UI can be kind of slow -- however, you can still export to your warehouse and model in Viz Tools if this poses an issue.

- Documentation is good but could be better in a couple of areas for the more techy implementations.

- I'd recommend scheduling at least 1 onboarding call with a technical person on the Attribution App team to walk through how to implement your specific requirements to learn about any gotchas.

- Make sure at least 1 of your team members dives deep on the tool as the internal SME -- it definitely makes a difference since Attribution is an already complex subject Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Attribution?

I've worked in the attribution space for years, and Attribution is the only tool that successfully achieved the outcomes I was looking for.

Its out of the box functionality to tie an ad click to spend saved tedious tracking work, thus freeing up my clients for more worthwhile analysis. Furthermore, I love its ability to track revenue tied to conversion, but also the user's LTV, which enabled me to make more actionable decisions about marketing investments long term vs. short term. Being able to choose which attribution model I want to analyze data with as well as update my look back and even look forward windows was something no other product or manual analysis was going to provide me.

What do you like best about Attribution?

Attribution App has been great for us. Since onboarding the platform, we've had true attribution data. Before, we could not truly gauge how effective each channel of marketing was. Now we have insights into every channel: affiliate, social media advertising, direct mail, programmatic, search advertising, organic, and more.

We also love that there are so many ways to easily integrate, implement, and set-up the platform.

What do you like best about Attribution?

Working with both product and marketing teams you often hear the empty promises of GA4 being the primary attribution solution. Where GA4 falls short, Attribution shines in its usability, event dropdowns, and channel groupings. I've built a lot of channel groupings in GA & GA4 but the ability to build custom groupings with ease is very refreshing and easy to use! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
