This program is extremely user-friendly. There is a resource for all programs used with multiple options to review and learn. With this being my first time using a program, there isn’t anything to compare to. However I have no complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With still learning my way around the complete usage and benefits this program offers, I do not have anything negative to pinpoint at this time. All the related articles and step-by-step features are 100% direct and helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
THe best thing about Atlan is the time saving it allowed our business to have when we were standardising our data. The ability to search natural phrases made finding assets a breeze, and the SQL search allowed very specific instances of data collection Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We sometimes have to find workarounds for our API-based queries. This isn't really the fault of Atlan, but more so with the API providers not being as supportive as they could/should. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

At the begging of the implementation and usage of the platform, the team found several bugs that we needed to fix as soon as possible to continue with the operation. In Atlan (the one we are currently using) policies feature has some limitations regarding the type of assets that could be included in the policy. We are in a meta data overload, this became more spreadsheet after spreadsheet. We chosed Atlan after a quick demo, the ease of cross-functional data collection because ease, most importantly secure! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
a) There is limitions in 3rd party integration, it needs to be improved!

The fact that everything can be automated with robust and efficient APIs that Atlan offers! This fulfills our leadership vision without making our dev's life difficult.
