Top Rated Ashore Alternatives

This software is so clean and easy to use. The developers have thought of everything (at least as far as what I needed) there is a built-in solution for even the nonnormal situations I sometimes come across with my clients.
I looked at endless other solutions to take care of my proofing process with clients and it gave me a headache. So many are either difficult to understand or have so much bloat built in that you need a manual in order to use. Ashore is the opposite, it has a quick and easy walkthrough for users that need it, but it is pretty easy to pick up on your own.
I had a few times at the beginning where I had a question for support and every time they are right there and very helpful. I was able to get my answer immediately instead of waiting 24 hours or more as with other software companies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I've been using the software now for several months and I can't think of anything I dislike. I use a lot of different software solutions for my business and I can honestly say that this is the only software without a single thing I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
3 out of 4 Total Reviews for Ashore

The core feedback functionality paired with review reminders is a great productivity boon. As a small business owner, having the tool keep bugging clients for feedback helps me keep projects on track and simplifies my process. Also, the multiple message templates saves us a great amount of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I don't like that people can't view a file without entering their name and email address. I'd prefer that to happen after they want to add a comment, but I get that it helps with the really detailed notifications about what action every person has done. So it's a mixed bag. I also wish it was more intuitive to reviewers that they have multiple documents to review or that documents have multiple pages. I usually end up explaining that outside the tool since it can be easily overlooked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Ashore has allowed us to provide a punctual and more specific follow-up to the development of our designs at a core point, which is the delivery of content and the follow-up of the same process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It seems to me that there are still some rough edges to be polished by ashore, but it does what it promises and keeps adding new features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

-My Clients don't need to create an account to use it!
-Simple, easy to use layout for clients
-Multi-step Approval Chain support
-Allows for proofing Documents, Videos, and more with client feedback on the page
-Versioning inside of the proof for reference later
-Does what it's supposed to do without all the bloat of other proofing systems that want to also play project manager
-Sends proof emails through users Email account to help with Spam filters on the Clients end
-Constantly working on the system to improve it (i.e. Beta with Zapier currently)
-The price is incredibly inexpensive for teams
As a total aside: my studio has a bit of a pirate flavor to it's branding, so finding a proofing solution named Ashore, that happened to be a perfect fit, was just too funny to pass on! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
-Interface for our side is a bit clunky (Viewing Proof before send doesn't actually view proof, just the proof email, unsure of where the message with the proof goes once it's been added)
-Workflows require preset recipients. I'd much prefer to setup a single Approver workflow and a Multi-Approver workflow with canned emails. The current method is great if you're proofing with the same people inside a company, but not if you are a creative studio working with many different clients
-No sync with Contacts
-No integration with Adobe (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop) to allow corrections and additions from the client to flow through for approval by the designer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
