Works much faster than previous versions of the system. UI was improved and it is much better than the ArcGIS one. Allows for a lot of customization and functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Experienced problems with GeoEvent server services with having GeoEvent would crash some time. It also requires a little bit of learning to get familiar with the software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can customize a lot, the UI is better than the ArcGIS one. Working on a project with multiple maps and layouts helps me organize my information Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The italian translation is not so accurate. Morover, I'm not able to use many of the tools of analysis because it's not possible to do that with my licence. Sometimes it crashes. It's not possible to load pdf files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
organised and lots of processing options Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
could use better work logging for project management Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The functionality and tools are great. Its much more user friendly than ArcMap as well as much faster. Tools that would take minutes to draw in ArcMap take only a few seconds in Pro. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Transitioning from ArcMap to Pro is very time intensive and not self-intuitive. Its such a different design that it takes a lot of time to learn the new design and setup. Additionally, sometime it can be very confusing about where tools are located, although with every update it seems to be improved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

ArcGIS Pro is a great successor to the old software. When used with a discrete GPU, it's super fast. Importing data from Excel and CSV files is a lot less clunky now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The new licensing system is a bit confusing. Some features that you would think would be standard are only available with additional extensions like network analyst. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I enjoy all Esri products. I like how this program looks aesthetically. The user interface is nice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I dislike that you cannot work out of ArcCataloge or drag and drop files from programs such as File Manager. You have to build a folder connection each time. This is inconvenient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease of connecting to content on the ArcGis.com I've used ESRI products since back in teh arcmap/arcinfo programs and have watched the platform evolve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Spatial analysis is charged to your credits. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The user interface is greatly improved. A clean, more straightforward interface is more intuitive and makes it easier to find the tool you need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The power and amount of tools in GIS is your main limiting factor. It is still difficult to figure out how to use this program without proper training. However, that is often the case with powerful programs that have a great depth of tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The software itself is much less prone to crashing and works more seamlessly. The layout function has been much improved and organization of various layouts are far easier than before. Though some features are still difficult to find, most of the features that were included with ArcMap are present in ArcGIS Pro in some way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The reorganization of the user interface has led to requiring more clicks to get the desired effect. Though only a minor inconvenience, getting used to the new UI could be a hassle for those that have become very familiar with ArcMap's layout. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
