The current user interface of Apptega feels outdated, occasionally impacting the speed of our operations. Fortunately, we have been able to preview the planned updates, and the upcoming UI improvements are promising. Apptega has made it easy to streamline my clients' security programs and communicate their posture in near real time. As an advisor and consultant, I am tasked with gathering information and making it useful for my clients. The simplisity of the product. It simply works. The ease of implementation was a key to UtliSat's decision to use Apptega; and Apptega did not disappoint in this area. It does not take days or weeks of training to begin using. It has flexibility in capabilities to allow for larger companies to utilize features found in the much more expensive competitors. Apptega has been a reliable resource for information, news, events and blog entries for relevant topics in the world of governance, risk, compliance, vendor management and other related topics that appeal to any cybersecurity professional that focuses on those areas within their organization. For some small-to-medium size organizations that have limited critical vendors and less compliance or regulatory requirements, certifications, or external audits on an annual basis, the platform has more options than can be fully utilized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

For smaller organizations/companies, you can't beat the price of Apptega's base, intermediate, and premium products. I searched far and wide for a GRC platform to sell to our clients and I almost choked when I finally got to a price quote.

Our organization implemented SSO access, and I was astounded at how easy the implementation went. I expected a lot more back and forth.

I've loved working with our Client Success Manager. I don't know how many clients he has, but he makes it seem like we're his only client. We can usually get a meeting with him in a couple days time.

The pricing model -- price points based on the number of employees -- makes it difficult to sell this to clients at times. Some companies have thousands of employees that don't use any tech, which means they won't have any need of governance. However, those employees still factor into the price. While this is the industry standard for platform pricing, convincing a client that has GRC team of less than five people that their platform will cost >$20k is a hard sell. Luckily, Apptega works with us to lower pricing in those scenarios.

The Apptega platform is easy to navigate and understand, but also highly functional. Its very easy to spin up an instance for my customers when we condcut assessments or enroll them in our vCISO services. It allows us to manage more customers with its automated features and I love the depth of reporting and numerous frameworks that they support. The best thing about working with Apptega has been their team. From the sales team to customer success, product team, and even executive leadership, they have been fantastic to work with. Apptega is intuitive to use-- i was able to get my multiple security frameworks setup with minimal time required. My favorite thing is the constant innovation we see going on. I've submitted multiple feature requests since the product was released and the Apptega team has been diligent with their word and communication around these requests. They've also done good work to build a community around their tool-- where folks can discuss the tool and how best to use it, and anything else related to it. Apptega has plenty of out of the box regulatory compliance content for NIST, ISO, PCI-DSS. We can do assessments to identify where we stand and also identify the gaps we need to meet to achieve a specific regulatory compliance. It is easy to use and not very complex which is the upside of Apptega. We are up and running on the day one in terms of implementation so great tool. It is one of our day to day use tool. I don't like that I have to scroll all the way down to click save. I know there is a save button on each control section but that still requires me to scroll to the bottom of the control to go save it. Sometimes I present a risk assessment live and go through it with a client and all the scrolling up and down is just a slitgh inconvenience. I also would love to be able to see the control number nect to each section. For example in the CMMC assessment, you have to expand the entire category to see the control number.
