Approov has been an invaluable addition to our mobile security stack at PrevailHQ.
It is cross platform so it offers solutions for both Android and iOS. You can piecemeal create a solution for Android. But you still have iOS to figure out. One single solution for all mobile is huge.
Being able to ensure only genuine, untampered apps can communicate with our servers is great piece of mind.
Our first mobile Pen Test after implementing Approov was passed with flying colors. The security team was quite impressed with how the server stopped communicating with a rooted device. When testing against MITM, they were impressed that the client stopped communicating with the server.
Integration is easy and straightforward. The documentation is clear, and the support team is incredibly responsive. Several times I had someone from Approov walk me through specific code samples and configuration changes. Within days, we had Approov up and running.

The Approov team worked closely with us to integrate their technology into our relatively new application built on Expo 49. After a trickier integration and their support, we've had no issues with self service which makes any problem solving or occasional tasks super fast! They are very responsive, but more often than not, I find I dont need to reach out and I can handle it myself! There is now even an Expo plugin making integration even easier. Some of the integrations at the time of us adding Approov were primarily targeting native or react-native directly rather than tailor-made for Expo. HOWEVER, this is no longer the case as there is an Expo plugin. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Few things that I found best in approov is it's scalability that it can handle wide range of traffic based on user needs, in-dept report on my app's traffic and real-time threat detection. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
