Quick and easy config to integrate access control with a myriad of service providers and data stores. For the admin, it's pretty straightforward to define and implement access flows. For the requester, all they have to do is ask for it via slack and they get what they need within seconds. Apono keeps track of everything and reacts just in time to apply, restore or revoke credentials and permissions.

It's more on the side of UI/UX, there's some stuff missing like a back/cancel button on certain screens. Also, some screens are not so straightforward to get into. They are linked to from other screens, but they don't have their own link in the side menu. However, the team is always open to feedback, and is constantly improving. As head of IT, It gives me a piece of mind when I know that only the right users get proper access to the system's DB at the right time; with Apono I don't need to worry about managing DB privileges since Apono makes sure that the key is automatically revoked upon duration completion. The onboarding experience can be improved, it took me a while to connect, and with a quite cranky UI was not clear what went wrong; I had to get Apono Customer support to learn that the IAM configuration template provided by AWS UI Console was not acceaptable by Apono but there was no error message which would indicate that and help me to solve the problem for myself. The platform is simple and easy. Initial onboarding took a few minutes long and I did it while having a cup of coffee. Their support is very helpful, and documentation is very detailed.
