Apliqo is built from its foundations with the end user experience in mind. It offers an intuitive interface, place on top of any type of business problem for planning and reporting.
It can integrate Excel input in the same front end, so end users can decide if they want to prepare data outside of the web-front end and load their results, or work directly in the tool. This combination allows users the freedom they need and desire to work in a way that suits them best.
The ideas behind the applications are always aimed towards ease of maintenance, a uniform look and feel and a do-it-yourself approach where IT involvement is limited to a minimum and business users can be autonoumous. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a not a drag-and-drop tool for do it yourself dashboarding. But it is also not intended to be this. The target of Apliqo is rolling out applications to a group of end users that can get going without the need for extensive trainings. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Apliqo UX is an amazing frontend when needing to roll out a planning, reporting and analytics model that was developed within Planning Analytics/TM1. It has some amazing features that the standard out-of-the-box application from IBM does not meet. With regular updates, amazing customer support, well designed additional features, and a focus on an application driven by user-experience, it is a MUST HAVE. It can be somewhat daunting moving from a Excel based view of interacting with Planning Analytics, to Apliqo UX. BUT this upskilling is totally worth it in the long run as your scripting and configuration skills become more and more. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Apliqo is the best Frontend tool I have used for Planning Analytics (TM1). It is very intuitive and easy to use. But also has the depth and flexibility you would like it to have, the deeper you go and the more experienced you accumulate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Formatting multiple columns in the same format might be somewhat tedious in my experience so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Apliqo UX is an indispensable tool for enhancing the capabilities of TM1 implementations. The software’s seamless integration with TM1 allows for real-time data access and manipulation, which is crucial for accurate and timely decision-making.
Apliqo UX excels in its ability to leverage TM1’s powerful OLAP engine while providing a user-friendly interface that simplifies complex data interactions. The drag-and-drop functionality and intuitive dashboard creation enable users to build and customize reports and visualizations with ease, without needing extensive technical knowledge.
One of the standout features is the advanced data modeling capabilities, which allow for the creation of sophisticated financial models and what-if scenarios. This is particularly beneficial for clients who require detailed forecasting and budgeting solutions. The ability to write back data to TM1 cubes directly from the Apliqo UX interface streamlines the data entry process and ensures data integrity.
Overall, Apliqo UX significantly enhances the functionality and usability of TM1, making it a powerful solution for any organization looking to maximize their investment in IBM TM1. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some users find that there is a steep learning curve, especially for those unfamiliar with TM1 or advanced data modelling concepts.
While the software offers extensive customisation options, these require time and expertise to fully utilise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Apliqo UX allows you to build corporate level front end for your TM1/Planning Analytics applications.
It also also provide you with great interactions possibilities (Having links and tool tip within your report, allowing you to access supporting information...) and great visualisation options.
Like TM1, Apliqo UX allows you perform data entry in your application and see in real time the impact of your assumptions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response times for large grids of string data can be slow. Performance is also impacted when screen sharing a UX screen over a video call. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One of the standout features of Apliqo UX is its flexibility. Users have full control over their UI environment, enabling tailored experiences that cater to individual or corporate needs. This adaptability allows for personalized layouts, images, and color schemes, ensuring that the software aligns perfectly with user or corporate preferences.
The layout is intuitively designed, resembling the flow of a book, guiding users through a step-by-step process logically. This enhances the overall user experience while allowing for freedom of movement in any direction, ensuring that users are never restricted.
For those familiar with TM1 Cube Viewers, developing widgets in Apliqo UX is incredibly straightforward. The intuitive design facilitates easy creation and customization of widgets.
Navigating through the applications is equally logical and seamless. Each section flows naturally into the next, akin to reading a book.
The responsiveness to the TM1 environment is truly impressive. Apliqo UX operates in real-time, allowing for immediate updates and interactions. This capability is crucial, as it enables write-back to TM1 directly within the software while instantly reflecting any changes made to the data in TM1 outside of Apliqo UX. While Apliqo UX offers many strengths, there are a few areas that could pose challenges for Developers, particularly those who may not have a technical background.
Knowledge of TM1 Required. As a developer is that users need a solid understanding of TM1 to fully leverage the software’s capabilities.
A working knowledge of MDX (Multidimensional Expressions) wold be needed for advanced widgets. Developers who are not aware or know MDX may find it difficult to create the widgets that they desire.
Some familiarity with CSS and JSON is necessary for customizing the UI to fit specific needs. While the software is designed to be user-friendly, those without some knowledge may struggle to make desired adjustments to the layout and design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1. Easy to learn, ease of use.
2. Lots of flexible features can deal with complex use cases and requirements.
3. It's born to help TM1 consultants to transform the modeling data into visual insights and online colaboration workflow processes.
4. Based on the above three points, it's way easy and efficient to implement in you project, especially where there is a time pressure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
1. There are too many features hiding in many different places. Sometimes you need time to find it and test it.
2. There is also performance issues when you try to show a big table. Hopefully it seems they are working on paging and lazy-loading. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Intutitive UI provide power user great capablity to build both planning template / application and analytics dashboard, which is perfectly helping the transition from the traditional FP&A to a more integrated process.
Directly access to IBM PA/TM1 cube data, be able to use the native view, subset, dimension, attributes, without staging layer for data visualization and presetation.
Quick implemenation with lots of built-in templates, as well as great level of flexibility to further customize the look and feel for a better user experience. This is great for a freqent-use-review-dashboard or analytics templates. Particulary the wizzard features for business story-telling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a bit learning curve for dashboard / applicaiton build, if lots of cutomized features / functions are required. but the basic / standard template can be done as easy as drag-and-drop. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Apliqo provides pre-built solutions as well as a modern web-based front-end for IBM Planning Analytics models. Both of these products meet typical requirements and needs of Planning Analytics users. In Apliqo UX (front-end solution) you can build dashboards to explore, analyse and modify data from your underlying model. It offers a wide range of features such as drilling, cross-drilling, calculations etc. to get insights that are otherwise hidden in the vast amount of data. If you want to guide your users through specific steps, you can use a specific type of dashboard that helps users to perform certain tasks in the correct order. It is quite easy to implement dashboards and get started with Apliqo UX. The setup with your Planning Analytics model is a one-time task. I am using Apliqo UX on a daily basis. The pre-built solutions from Apliqo speed up the development of Planning Analytics models tremendously as they provide a framework which covers typical structures required to build and run an integrated financial model. The vast amount of configuration options in Apliqo UX can be a little intimidating at first, especially for non-technical users who want to create their own dashboards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
