What do you like best about Ansys HFSS?

What do you like best about Ansys HFSS?

The best thing that I like about this software is the ease of use, setup and admin. It helps you in having better understanding about the concepts that you have learnt theoretically it provides you with the practical platform where you can make use of the concepts that you have learnt and can actually put them in use for manufacturing a product say like a microstrip patch antenna according to your preference and try designing the same with different dielectric materials. What do you like best about Ansys HFSS?

HFSS form Ansys is one of the best 3D EM simulators for high-frequency structures in the market from my point of view. The way you can model your own 3D structure and the flexibility you have is not in any other software. In addition, the simulation time can be dramatically reduced when you have great GPU or Multi-core machine and use the HPC feature of HFSS. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Ansys HFSS?

Its user-friendly feature is one of the best features. You can draw what in your mind is and do your simulations. I bet it is the best software in terms of accuracy as I compared its results with measurements and they were perfectly matched. Probably defining the boundary conditions is a little complicated and needs experiences to set the correct one with correct dimensions. Its documentation is far behind the abilities of the software. What do you like best about Ansys HFSS?

I have been working with HFSS for more than 8 years and I am very confident of the results it produces. it is a very powerful software that gives you capabilities to design various aspects of technologies including cell phone, wiring systems, chips, antennas. All other comparable software only provide results wit no feedback or reliability, however Ansys HFSS delivers reliable results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Ansys HFSS?

Sometimes it gets stuck with no option for debugging. Also the solid models Ansys HFSS produces (such as .step file, etc) are sometimes incompatible with other CAD tools. I also find licensing can be a bit expensive for a design software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Ansys HFSS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Advanced technology in the area of particle physics and chemistry. It enabled new designs for pushing limits of science, including sensors and wireless components.
