What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

Retention analysis, Funnel Optimalization, Behavorial Analytics, Segmentation, Predictive tools, Collaboration tools, Good Broader Ecosystem. They have responsive support team and a helpful knowledge base with tutorials and guides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

We using it every day, but can make it hard to fully customize visualizations or perform highly specific analyses. Limits the ability to act on immediate trends or changes. Missteps in tracking can lead to flawed analyses and delayed insights. It requires collaboration between product, marketing, and development teams to configure event tracking properly. What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

I believe the ease of use is one of the main selling points of Amplitude. After the team configured it and mapped events (pretty quickly, btw), I didn't need to expend a second reading docs or tutorials to start viewing the data I needed and answering the questions I had on app usage, retention, funnels, etc. I use it daily and it's my team's main platform for dashboards regarding our app (we do have GA4, but we rarely use it for this purpose, since Amplitude gives us a better view of our app and users). It has some nice integrations, with Facebook Audiences, for example. Or even sending data back to GA4. It's much more powerful than a simple dashboard and analytics tool. I highly recommend it for any team looking to deeply understand their app usage and customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

That part's been solved. Or cohort filters and so on. The other thing is a bit more complicated, I know, but it would be nice to have a visual event setup. Like Facebook Event Setup Tool. What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

The best part which most of the analytics doesn't give you is user look up and streams, the journey of what user did entirely is so helpful to find broken UX, helps us to optimize our UI more effectively.

I use this daily and it is bery easy to use and integrate and add feature flags and experiments, controlling the A/B tests is also very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes the Analytics are weird, multiple devices are tagged into one amplitude id, and we see some weird experiment occurred analytics,

What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

Amplitude is a great tool for analyzing user behavior and product metrics, which is something I find useful as a product manager! What stands out to me is its ability to provide deep insights into how users interact with a product or service. The user-centric approach and the flexibility it offers for segmenting data and tracking user journeys are powerful. Plus, its cohort analysis and retention features can help teams make data-driven decisions to improve user engagement and growth.

Also, I use Amplitude to plug in experiment data, which is crucial to help me understand the impact on metrics for control and treatment groups. It's easy to use and I use it fairly frequently. What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

The downside is that there are delays in user properties being updated. When launching experiments it is hard to get real time results right when the test begins to QA things are working as expected. Less effective for data not related to digital products: Amplitude is amazing for apps, SaaS, or digital platforms, but it may be less useful for offline or physical businesses, where event tracking is not as straightforward.
