We using it every day, but can make it hard to fully customize visualizations or perform highly specific analyses. Limits the ability to act on immediate trends or changes. Missteps in tracking can lead to flawed analyses and delayed insights. It requires collaboration between product, marketing, and development teams to configure event tracking properly. What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

I believe the ease of use is one of the main selling points of Amplitude. After the team configured it and mapped events (pretty quickly, btw), I didn't need to expend a second reading docs or tutorials to start viewing the data I needed and answering the questions I had on app usage, retention, funnels, etc. I use it daily and it's my team's main platform for dashboards regarding our app (we do have GA4, but we rarely use it for this purpose, since Amplitude gives us a better view of our app and users). It has some nice integrations, with Facebook Audiences, for example. Or even sending data back to GA4. It's much more powerful than a simple dashboard and analytics tool. I highly recommend it for any team looking to deeply understand their app usage and customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

The best part which most of the analytics doesn't give you is user look up and streams, the journey of what user did entirely is so helpful to find broken UX, helps us to optimize our UI more effectively.

I use this daily and it is bery easy to use and integrate and add feature flags and experiments, controlling the A/B tests is also very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes the Analytics are weird, multiple devices are tagged into one amplitude id, and we see some weird experiment occurred analytics,

We are able to answer both simple and complex business questions. For example; Who are the users of my product? Threading user properties across the platform is the best. Another use case; How often are my users returning to the product and converting? The retention and funnel charts give clear answers by enabling users to create the expected path, and gain insights to make changes needed to enable conversion from trial and paid plans. What do you like best about Amplitude Analytics?

Amplitude is a great tool for analyzing user behavior and product metrics, which is something I find useful as a product manager! What stands out to me is its ability to provide deep insights into how users interact with a product or service. The user-centric approach and the flexibility it offers for segmenting data and tracking user journeys are powerful. Plus, its cohort analysis and retention features can help teams make data-driven decisions to improve user engagement and growth.

Also, I use Amplitude to plug in experiment data, which is crucial to help me understand the impact on metrics for control and treatment groups. It's easy to use and I use it fairly frequently. What do you dislike about Amplitude Analytics?

Users are abandoning their carts and not completing the checkout process. Amplitude allows me to track how users move through the checkout process, from adding items to the cart all the way to purchase completion. I can see where they drop off, whether it’s at the payment stage, form filling, or shipping selection. This level of visibility helps me understand which steps in the checkout process are causing friction or confusion, allowing me to prioritize fixes that can reduce cart abandonment and increase conversion rates. The billing for the usage we had was quite high, and we had to negotiatie with intermediaries who were official resellers of the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I integrated it directly with Braze to streamline product events for CRM campaigns. Additionally, I created user funnels with these events to monitor drop-offs throughout the user lifecycle.
