Retention analysis, Funnel Optimalization, Behavorial Analytics, Segmentation, Predictive tools, Collaboration tools, Good Broader Ecosystem. They have responsive support team and a helpful knowledge base with tutorials and guides. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We using it every day, but can make it hard to fully customize visualizations or perform highly specific analyses. Limits the ability to act on immediate trends or changes. Missteps in tracking can lead to flawed analyses and delayed insights. It requires collaboration between product, marketing, and development teams to configure event tracking properly. I believe the ease of use is one of the main selling points of Amplitude. After the team configured it and mapped events (pretty quickly, btw), I didn't need to expend a second reading docs or tutorials to start viewing the data I needed and answering the questions I had on app usage, retention, funnels, etc. I use it daily and it's my team's main platform for dashboards regarding our app (we do have GA4, but we rarely use it for this purpose, since Amplitude gives us a better view of our app and users). It has some nice integrations, with Facebook Audiences, for example. Or even sending data back to GA4. It's much more powerful than a simple dashboard and analytics tool. I highly recommend it for any team looking to deeply understand their app usage and customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are only 2 things I miss in Amplitude. ̶T̶h̶e̶ ̶f̶i̶r̶s̶t̶ ̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶i̶s̶ ̶m̶o̶r̶e̶ ̶c̶r̶o̶s̶s̶ ̶c̶h̶a̶r̶t̶ ̶c̶o̶n̶t̶r̶o̶l̶s̶ ̶(̶l̶i̶k̶e̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶L̶o̶o̶k̶e̶r̶ ̶S̶t̶u̶d̶i̶o̶)̶,̶ ̶b̶e̶i̶n̶g̶ ̶a̶b̶l̶e̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶a̶p̶p̶l̶y̶ ̶o̶n̶e̶ ̶t̶i̶m̶e̶ ̶f̶i̶l̶t̶e̶r̶,̶ ̶f̶o̶r̶ ̶e̶x̶a̶m̶p̶l̶e̶,̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶t̶ ̶a̶p̶p̶l̶i̶e̶s̶ ̶t̶o̶ ̶a̶l̶l̶ ̶c̶h̶a̶r̶t̶s̶ ̶i̶n̶ ̶a̶ ̶d̶a̶s̶h̶b̶o̶a̶r̶d̶. That part's been solved. Or cohort filters and so on. The other thing is a bit more complicated, I know, but it would be nice to have a visual event setup. Like Facebook Event Setup Tool. A bit of a stretch, I know, but it could work for front-end events. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best part which most of the analytics doesn't give you is user look up and streams, the journey of what user did entirely is so helpful to find broken UX, helps us to optimize our UI more effectively.
I use this daily and it is bery easy to use and integrate and add feature flags and experiments, controlling the A/B tests is also very easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the Analytics are weird, multiple devices are tagged into one amplitude id, and we see some weird experiment occurred analytics,
If it can replace those and can identify deep links, then nothing like it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The platform as a whole is easy to use, seamless integrations, a robust number of features, and excellent customer support managers & architects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Managing a portfolio of many products can be challenging, becuase we are required to create multiple projects and have to chase down project owners to maintain their product's data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Amplitude is a great tool for analyzing user behavior and product metrics, which is something I find useful as a product manager! What stands out to me is its ability to provide deep insights into how users interact with a product or service. The user-centric approach and the flexibility it offers for segmenting data and tracking user journeys are powerful. Plus, its cohort analysis and retention features can help teams make data-driven decisions to improve user engagement and growth.
Also, I use Amplitude to plug in experiment data, which is crucial to help me understand the impact on metrics for control and treatment groups. It's easy to use and I use it fairly frequently. Customer support got back when I had a question on the stat. sig indicator. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be nice if there were more training videos and educational tools to help me learn about all the ways to analyze data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Amplitude Analytics is a highly flexible tool that enables you to track key user engagement points, providing deep insights into user behavior. It’s invaluable for measuring stickiness, retention, feature adoption, and more. Given how crucial user engagement is for any SaaS business, Amplitude simplifies tracking and reporting, making it an essential daily tool. Plus, its AI-powered help center answers most questions instantly, and for anything else, the responsive support team is always there to assist. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One challenge with Amplitude Analytics is that you need to carefully plan your implementation before you start tracking data, as cleaning things up retroactively can be difficult or even impossible. While Amplitude provides good out of the box visualization tools, customization options are somewhat limited. However, you can export the data and connect it to more advanced visualization tools for greater flexibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

- The feature list is huge, you can do a lot of detailed analysis

Depth in data analysis:
Amplitude offers an extremely detailed view of user behavior. It allows for data segmentation and very precise funnel analysis, making it ideal for understanding what drives retention and growth.
Intuitive visualization and customizable dashboards:
The graphs and panels are easy to set up and understand, making complex data analysis more accessible even for those who are not experts in analysis.
Integrations with multiple tools:
It connects with CRMs, marketing tools (like HubSpot), and data automation platforms (Segment, Snowflake, etc.), facilitating a 360º view of the customer.
Prediction and machine learning capabilities:
It not only analyzes past data but also helps predict future behaviors using AI, allowing you to anticipate problems or identify growth opportunities.
Experimentation and integrated A/B Testing:
You can run tests directly from the platform to measure the impact of changes in the product or campaign, eliminating the need for additional tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
High learning curve: Although the interface is visually appealing, fully mastering Amplitude can take time. To get the most out of it, it is necessary to have knowledge in data analysis and define events very precisely.
Complex initial setup: It is necessary to configure events, users, and funnels from scratch. If you don't have a technical team or a data analyst, this can become tedious and prone to errors.
Less effective for data not related to digital products: Amplitude is amazing for apps, SaaS, or digital platforms, but it may be less useful for offline or physical businesses, where event tracking is not as straightforward.
Dependence on the quality of tracking: If event tracking is not implemented correctly, the results can be inaccurate or incomplete. Unlike Google Analytics, where certain metrics are configured automatically, in Amplitude it is more manual. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Good tool for product and marketing events tracking that enables effective user funnel analysis and dashboard creation, providing insights into product and trends. It is really easy to use and has great UX. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The billing for the usage we had was quite high, and we had to negotiatie with intermediaries who were official resellers of the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are various features which I like the most about amplitude.
1. Feature flagging which help to rollout the feature in product on the basis of user without redeplyoing the code.
2. Session recording which help in gain the user pain points and improve the product in many ways like UX perspective.
3. It's easy to implement and integrate with various technologies.
4. Easy to use even for a non tech person.
5. Great customer support and community support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some times when there are large number of events it takes time to show the full event data. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
