The pricing structure is different from some other popular tools on the market, which usually charge a percentage of payments made to affiliates and sell packages based on the amount of commissions paid per month, while Ambassador has packages defined for the number of Affiliates, which I consider more suitable for those who do not know how much traction the program will gain in the beginning, it is more predictable to control costs. To be completely fair, we are just starting our partnership with Ambassador, so until we reach a certain maturity in the program, what I can evaluate is more the offer vs. the price vs. the features offered and not so much their functionality. I do not have anything to add at this point. We are still building our program and getting started with Ambassador, so to be fair I would rather not mention anything related to the functionality of the platform. Perhaps what I can mention is having more ways to customize the registration portal and the affiliate access portal, however, it is nothing critical and the platform is constantly improving from what I have seen. The Ambassador team has instilled confidence in our transition to this platform. Their industry knowledge, technical skills, and commitment to customer satisfaction made me feel secure throughout the onboarding process. We were able to connect, share strategies, and accomplish everything we needed in a timely manner. The platform itself is significantly more user-friendly for our affiliates, and they even took the time to develop custom functionalities to help our affiliates thrive on Ambassador. The native application with Salesforce made the setup of our program much easier than expected. Blake and the onboarding team did a great job in answering our questions and giving us everything we needed to configure our first campaign. We have a custom theme on our Shopify site, making the builder a bit tricky to use at first. However, the helpful team was able to troubleshoot and keep us on track. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I loved that it integrates with multiple POS systems which allowed our business - which has both brick & mortar as well as ecommerce to use the platform. This was the only platform I found that worked for both POS systems which was incredibly valuable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It took FOREVER to set up. I spent at least one month & several days on calls with tech support & the set up team. It was incredibly inefficient & the tech seemed clunky - not user friendly at all. Later in the year, we were asked to do updates in order to continue the functionality of the product. The updates would have taken several hours out of my day & were not simple to complete - it seemed complely counterintuitive to have the customers perform these updates. This company is very hands on, and it was necessary because I needed thorough explaining when it came to the set up, although I was surprised to see that the overall integration was very fast and easy! My web team were able to help us reach the deadline thanks to their organization and follow up, and my Boss was extremely happy that we could launch on time. I am very happy to have our company Smart Choice Warranty as a part of the Ambassador family and feel confident that our customers will have ease of service and our brand looking good because of them!

Ambassador's software requires minimal set up if you have an out of the box e-commerce site like Magento or Shopify. Their customer support team when it comes to anything technical or integration wise is really helpful. Their sales team also reviews your activity and performance regularly.

Great customer success manager, Dylan, who responds in less than an hour to inquiries and support questions.
Handles promo code creation which is unusual in the space from what I've seen.

Analytics capabilities could use some work. I think that's the single most important update needed. Once what can be exported into a spreadsheet is updated, I would love to see the ability to build reports and pivot tables directly in the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There's two things I love best about the Ambassador platform.
First is how easy it is to use. We had a very simple referral program before Ambassador, but once we seamlessly integrated their software onto our site our referral program took off. There are also so many additional tools that we feel we've only just scratched the surface with the platform and our referral program.
The second thing is the support. The have a great team that has gone over and above for us and answered every one of my questions. Despite us throwing many curveballs at them, they've shown to be super flexible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
