The best thing about AWS SES is that it is a speedy, efficient, and reliable infrastructure. It has a pay-to-go feature, so we don't have to pay any upfront or recurring costs. If one has sound technical knowledge and a little bit of experience with AWS SDK, then it's not too hard to set up or integrate AWS SES with your existing emailing system. Amazon Simple Email Service [ AWS or Amazon SES] is the most cost-effective email marketing platform in the world. Amazon SES comes with a web-based interface filled with useful services and features. For onboarding and off-boarding, Amazon SES provides a range of resources to its users. Amazon SES provides various metrics like number of emails send/ not send, number of emails that resulted in a hard bounce, number of spam emails, number of delivered emails, number of emails opened by the recipients, etc to its users. You will need email marketing software like mailbluster or mautic to send emails using Amazon SES. Amazon SES allows you to send transactional emails, marketing emails, and mass communications, etc to your customers. Email designing and contact management etc are done using the email marketing software. Amazon SES's free tier is the best in the world. You can send 62000 every month at no charge. After the free- tier you have to pay $ 0.10 for every 1000 emails you send. The integration of Amazon SES with the marketing software is very simple. Amazon SES is a great service but it does have some demerits. Amazon SES has a daily quota system. Which means you can send only a certain number of emails per day. Amazon SES does not provide a list of bounced emails to its users. This is a huge drawback. And if your bounce rate is above 10% your sending capability will be automatically blocked.
