I like the fast email delivery, identity protection, and handling the spam, bounce and reports from customers. SES service is very straightforward to integrate as well using the AWS SDK. I don't like the SES API reporting; in case of a credential breach, one can not access the Sent email logs as there is no feature; you need to guess how your credentials were breached and what email they are sending using that. the one thing I dislike but that also for the first time is Upgrading Sandbox env to Prod env in SES. like I applied many times for SES Prod access but was rejected, but finally now after lots of rejection, it's upgraded. thanks to AWS Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are using SES to send internal reports within organisation, we can send 50000 of mails free of cost per month l, later on at very minimal cost. Easy to setup, it will provide an endpoint for a particular region and username/ password and that's it. Just need to intergate with any language with credentials and ready to use. Once we had some security breach, that time Amazon blocked our email service with some suggestions / changes, we did that changes right away after reporting, but it still took 72 hours to restart this service from Amazon side. Lack of debugging is one thing which I expect more in simple email service by Amazon. For triggering an email using ses a user needs to register the email address with ses service but in case if a user doesn't register the email address and try to sends email the email will not get triggerd , SES will not show any error too in this case leaving the end user clue less. It is the cheapest email service provider to my knowledge. It has all the basic featured to send emails with proper SPF and DKIM domain authentication from e-commerce giant Amazon. They just provide API, which you need to set up in your panel from which you can send emails. We used Amazon SES for both transactions as well as promotional emails. It support is the main negative point that leads to switching to other email providers with a much better support team, especially at the time of integration. Amazon SES dashboard is also not friendly for a nontech person; it was difficult to configure and find the API key needed to integrate a 3rd party email-sending tool like WebEngage.
