Amazon Redshift is a game-changer, allowing us to have highly scalable and performance-enabled data warehousing for the complex project. The MPP architecture and columnar storage offer powerful query performance on the platform. Redshift also allowed us easily to integrate several AWS services, such as using S3 for data imports and Glue for ETL operations, and made our pipeline very streamlined so that data transfer and queries were decreased by many times.

The best part is the ability of its keys (distribution data keys) which enhances the performance capabilities when queries are run. It is mostly managed by AWS and quite good in distribution processing too. An option to search/find data would be a little helpful because it can have massive amount of data. Scalability whether up or down is restricted or to be precise, it is limited to an extent.= compared to other cloud providers. Even is concurrency is less compared to others with a max of 50. It'really easy to create and manage tables on Amazon Redshift. SQL syntax is simple and well documented and really helps me to query and aggregate the data. A wide range of data types are supported, even geometry data type for geo applications. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
