Alloy has been essential to helping us create unified processes for our entire client base. This, in turn, has helped us to organize accurate and cohesive data across our organization. We selected Alloy Automation for its extensive integration capabilities, which allow our merchants to seamlessly integrate our company with a vast array of crucial commerce tools and platforms. This includes major eCommerce platforms, loyalty programs, and email marketing, aligning perfectly with our vision for a holistic solution for merchants. Our vision is to enable flexible and profitable branded payments for merchants. As a part of this vision, we are constantly striving to deliver integrations our customers request. We selected Alloy Automation over many other embedded iPaaS platforms due to large catalog of connectors offered and the variety of features that offer granular customization per user, such as their Installation Manager. What do you like best about Alloy Automation?

Ease of use and customer support. It's generally a good app and the staff are always very motivated to help us succeed when issues arise, or even just checking in occasionally that our adoption is going well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Alloy Automation?

Missing some integrations and debugging problems can be tough sometimes. That said support is quick to help out with debugging and they're adding some features very shortly to make that self-service, and they're building out the platform and adding new integrations all the time. Other more established platforms were *also* missing some of the marketing apps we need but Alloy was eager to meet our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Alloy Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?

It smooths some of the headaches of allowing our customers to connect to their accounts in different apps and allows us to offload some of the app-specific logic we would otherwise have to build into our own platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Alloy Automation?

Alloy allows us to build integrations quickly and efficiently, which is really important to us. We’re able to use less of our engineers’ time than we would if we built these in house, which results in value time and cost savings. Alloy has a lot of customization and configurable options, which is also critical to our use cases. They are always receptive to feedback and provide excellent support. Once you get the hang of it, the product is extremely easy to navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Alloy Automation?

We did run into some minor product hiccups along the way, but the team was able to resolve these quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Alloy Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?

Launching integrations with Alloy has given our engineers valuable time back, that they’re able to use to focus on in house initiatives. It’s easy to use, and the time savings has been key for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Alloy Automation?

It's really easy to use and the background work is the gold here, it does all the job of integrating with multiple integrations, you can transform data to suit your backend needs, you have a retry mechanism if it fails for some reason, you have logs to investigate what went wrong during a workflow execution, your end-user just have to provide his/her credentials and everything is set! It's also great to have version control so you can release newer versions of a workflow in a safe way.

Another great thing is the bulk fetching feature, pagination, filtering etc, their customer support is also very responsive so if you need anything they are there to help you out. They are open-minded so you can suggest features and they will listen and probably implement these features as soon as they can. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Alloy Automation?

The UI, it's not fluid and it does some sort of refreshes then it focus on elements that you weren't dealing with, so you have to keep "re-clicking" the element you were editing before the refresh. Also, when you are testing the embedded modal, you provide the credentials to set up some integration, then it logs you out from Alloy dashboard, that's annoying because you have to keep logging in everytime you have to test the embedded modal. Alloy could also offer a way to create reusable variables, so these variables could be used inside each integration/workflow and when you need to edit the variable, all integrations/workflows are also updated, consequently. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Alloy Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?

We don't have to spend time and use our internal developers to implement integrations one by one, we just create workflows and reuse it. We don't have to deal with integrations rate limiting, pagination, filters, errors, etc, we just receive the data we need from Alloy and if anything goes wrong, we check the logs and fix what has to be fixed. If it's some sort of instability within the integration, Alloy retries the workflow execution so 99% of the time that's enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Alloy Automation?

The Alloy Automation team provides top-notch support. They have been present throughout our initial integration process, the building of the different integration workflows, and for troubleshooting particular integration/workflow/user combinations. Hands down, the best part of this relationship has been the experience we've had with their support/success team.

The actual product gives an immense amount of flexibility for being able to do different data manipulations without having to write specific code yourself. The capacity for highly complex workflows is also very high. Most brands will find great benefit/use from implementing simple 1 to 5-step workflows, but Alloy is capable of running far more complex workflows to get you the solution you need. Alloy has created connections with a large number of tools and just about every ecommerce store will certainly find some use case for which Alloy is the solution. Great tool and an excellent experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Alloy Automation?

We initially explored Alloy as an option to remove the need for developers, but Alloy did require some developer resources for the initial setup for our particular brand/use case. I'm glad we dedicated those resources because it has opened up the options afterwards, but that did require an adjustment for us on the initial setup. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Alloy Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?

Alloy helps us to set up workflows for specific user requirements. It allows us to create very specific use cases whenever our customers need something done without having to go through a normal development process that involves developers. It gives us a lot more flexibility and we can easily set up our integrations by utilizing the Alloy tools. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Alloy Automation?

The most helpful part of our integration is that it simplified our integrations and reduced the time and effort required to deploy. We can democratize feature development across our company, which unburdens our engineers to focus on solutions they are uniquely equipped to solve.

What sets Alloy apart from the rest is not only the features they offer but also their exceptional team. Will and Kelly were instrumental in helping us understand how to optimize Alloy for our use cases, and Wali and Alex are always willing to go the extra mile to ensure our needs are met.

We evaluated Alloy's new Unified API product and chose them over Rutter because of Alloy's complete platform. We aren't limited in the types of integrations we need to build across the eCommerce tech stack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Alloy Automation?

We had a slight learning curve with some small hiccups during our initial integration, but they were committed to resolving these issues while maintaining exceptional support. It has not been a detractor for us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Alloy Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?

Alloy has empowered us to confidently launch integrations and be exhaustive in solving our merchants' needs while saving us time and money. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Alloy Automation?

- Easy to use. Denifing workflow is a piece of cake, just define the JSON schema of the incoming event and here you go. The rest of the work is drag-n-dropping some blocks and configuring them.

- Speed of integration with 3rd parties on a scale. In my case, I integrated Shopify and Attentive with runalloy. Runalloy helped me to skip the burden of creating apps in these platforms and pass reviews. It saves a lot of time and money.

- Customer support is excellent. I met some lacking features like Shopify Graphql API integration and some missing endpoints for Attentive, talked to support team, and got blazing-fast feedback and implemented functionality.

- Advanced tooling supported for proficient developers. Integration with AWS EventBridge was very useful and efficient for our infrastructure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Alloy Automation?

- Admin dashboard could be better. There are API endpoints to upgrade integrated workflows versions, but it's not available in UI. I had to build a small app by myself. It would be great to have this as a part of the built-in functionality. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Alloy Automation?

Without a doubt, as a product leader, it's so valuable to have close access to the Alloy team for requests and adjustments. They are communicative and supportive of our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Alloy Automation?

In the early going, I can't say there's much I dislike at this point. We did request a Canva integration and they said it was not on their roadmap which was surprising, but hard to argue with their decision-making. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Alloy Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have very aggressive goals for our Integration team in 2024 after a year or so of not moving our integration strategy forward. We knew we needed something like Alloy that would enable us to act quickly on the integrations we knew we needed to deliver to our users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
