I can prepare a survey and work through complex survey logic before sending Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They archive my old surveys in a hard to access location Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Alchemer has a ton of functionalities and actions that allow you to tailor the use of the application. They back up this highly developed product with an easy-to-access user interface and amazing customer service. No matter the time of day, I can always get a person on the phone immediately. They don't stop until they've solved your issue or have a full understanding of what may be a bug in the system before they let you go. No rushing you off the phone or minimizing the seriousness of your situation. The survey application itself is top-notch and makes my job as a program evaluator and education researcher just a little bit easier. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I can't think of one thing to dislike about Alchemer...nothing, zilch, nada. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Originally used for test design scoring for new hires coming into the organization, which is a great feature. Branched out to Customer Satisfaction Surveys (CSATs). Moved away from those and now the focus is on Employee Satisfaction Surveys (ESATs) and general employee surveys. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the default presets, but they can be adjusted as needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Alchemer is a sturdy little survey platform. It has drawbacks, which I'll mention later, but it also succeeds in areas that Qualtrics fails. (We use both Alchemer and Qualtrics at my company). For instance, in Alchemer it's easy for a user to nickname or change the codes on a variable's response outcomes. The UI just feels more intuitive overall. There are lots of customization options. I've done some advanced work with the API and found it approachable though I'm still new to it. Overall though, I like what I see. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Qualtrics still beats Alchemer in a couple of ways. First, Alchemer desperately needs a mechanism like Qualtrics' "survey flow" that allows a user to get a bird's eye view of the entire survey. Second, I think Alchemer could punch up in-line reporting options and visualizations for less tech-savvy (more qualitative leaning) researchers who run surveys. It's great to be able to tailor a quick survey around our customers, segmenting by customer type and supporting initiatives across the business. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's relatively quick to pick up, but some of the more advanced features do need some explaining. Some video instructions/walkthroughs would be useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The help documentation and customer support provided by Alchemer are excellent. The help documentation is extensive and easily searchable, and the customer support staff is knowledgeable and friendly, resolving any issues quickly. The software provides numerous options for creating customized surveys, with the automated reports with tables and charts standing out as a standout feature. The ease of use and ability to create surveys from Word or Google Docs are appreciated by users. While Alchemer has some shortcomings, it excels in areas where other platforms, such as Qualtrics, fail. It is a dependable survey platform due to its user-friendly interface, customization options, and approachable API. It's been used for a variety of things, including test design scoring for new hires and employee satisfaction surveys. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
While Alchemer has customizable default presets, it still falls short of Qualtrics. Users request a feature similar to Qualtrics' "survey flow" to provide a comprehensive overview of the entire survey. Alchemer could also improve in-line reporting and visualizations for researchers who prefer a more qualitative approach. One disadvantage is the additional cost for sending more than 10,000 emails per month, which users believe should be available for purchase on a month-to-month basis rather than an annual commitment. For those without programming experience, the learning curve for implementing complex logic or custom code in Alchemer surveys can be steep. However, useful online articles are usually available to help with any problems. While there are some areas that could be improved, users find Alchemer Survey to be user-friendly, with support resources readily available. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like everything from ease of use to their excellent customer service. My favorite feature is the ability to quickly & easily create a survey from Word or Google Doc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The extra cost for sending out more than 10k emails monthly using their platform. It would be great if you could purchase for just the months you need the additional email sends and not the entire year. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Provides easy-to-use options with simplified merge codes for reporting and email implementation.
The options for integration with data connectors also works pretty fine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some of the extracted reporting formats don't support XLS, but only CSV, which in Cyrillic, can break the collected DB with audience answers.
The reporting automatization option would be handy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Alchemer's help documentation and customer support are absolutely phenomenal. Most of the questions/issues I have run into while creating surveys were easily searchable in their help documentation, but for the few times that I wasn't able to find a solution in their help documentation, their customer support staff (phone and email) were friendly and knowledgable and helped me solve the problem quickly.
The best thing I like about the Alchemer software is that there are so many options available for creating customized surveys. I also really like the automated reports (with tables and charts) you can create for survey responses, with the ability to filter results based on responses to one or more questions. This isn't a 'dislike' necessarily, and I don't really have experience with other paid-for survey software, but I will say that the learning curve was rather steep for understanding how to implement more complex logic/use custom code in my Alchemer surveys. Luckily I was patient and determined, but others with less programming experience may not be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
