The UI is very intuitive and user-friendly. I'm able to create and format the surveys that I need quickly. I love how many different question formats are available--it's incredibly useful. I appreciate the ability to style both my surveys and my reports. Being able to click a button and produce a professional, on-brand report is great. It saves me a lot of time that I would have to spend reformatting the results before sharing. Also, their customer service team is awesome! They have been so helpful and pleasant to work with. The thing that causes me the most frustration is the reports section. It can take a very long time to load, especially if you have a lot of data. Additionally, trying to export the results of a years-long survey is pretty much impossible. My workaround is sharing a report link, which isn't ideal in all situations. The best thing is variety of test types and question types, and advanced piping and logic conditions; it all really provides flexibility when I build my surveys. Number of surveys, questions and participants is unlimited even in the cheapest plan, which is crucial. I like that I can add a picture to survey question without having to upload it to my servers first. I can add video. I can ask participants to highlight something in a text attached. This are all the options I lacked in a previous solution I used. Another great feature is that I can change an answer type if I choose wrong one - previous tool I used didn't let me to do it, so if I chose checkboxes instead of radio buttons by accident, to change it I had to remove the question and type it again. Painful especially when you've put a long list of answers. I really like the question preview when choosing the answer type, you see straight away what your question will look like. Options of customising survey report are also very handy.
Oh, and the help section is very... well, helpful :) And if you still have an issue after checking documentation, you can contact Customer Support - they really work and solve your problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I really dislike the PDF and Word doc export of study reports. It looks terrible. Honestly, terrible.
The second thing is problems with copied surveys. Sometimes I build a survey starting with the one I already made to have some questions or translations ready. I change questions, but in the preview, sometimes I see the previous version, or I cant change some answer options and eventually have to remove the question and add a new one.
With a multiuser account, I can't see who created a survey and when. Sometimes I need to know who's the author to consult them, for instance. I wish Alchemer provided an easy option of embedding the survey on my website, as Usabilla or Hotjar do, let's say. So I just put my page URL in, and a pop-up with my questions shows up. Also, I wish the access to audiences Alchemer provides was included in my plan fee, not paid extra. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The overall offering in terms of functionality are great. It functionalities are very simple to use. I have been using it for last 2 years and continue to do so. It is cost effective as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Customer support is slow. The UI on the mobile can be improved more. I was also unable to find third party integrations with email platforms which we use inhouse. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Alchemer is the most complete survey tool compared to it's competitors. Easy to use, 100% mobile friendly surveys and plenty of reporting options for clients. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes programming a specific or unusual question requires quite some javascript to make it work. Gladly support is always there to help me with the solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I love the visual nature of the results, including the pie charts and the word clouds with the open response answers. The actual survey and the ability to customize the design is a great feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are a few features (like exporting the reports) that aren't as intuitive as I'd like them to be. For example, instead of "export," there's Bulk Action. It's also a little pricey, in my opinion Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There's no doubt that Alchemer (formerly SurveyGizmo) is a super powerful survey tool. I think it's pretty intuitive for getting the basics of it, but it takes a little while before you get really comfortable with some of its advanced programming features. I think it stacks up quite well with Qualtrics—I honestly can't say one of them is better than the other. Qualtrics probably has better analytic tools but that comes at an incredible cost premium. One of my dislikes is how hidden some of the options are for questions. Like if I want to randomize survey options (or something like anchoring an option) for a single select or multi select, you have to dig in past multiple menus to get there. When you have large surveys and have to do it more than a few times, it gets very cumbersome. I wish the interface could be a little more intuitive and optimized for faster programming. The interface is simple and highly intuitive. The analytics are far better than competitors in a similar price range. Alchemer also integrates easily through an API with the platform we use for dashboards. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Country specific things like currency symbols are very limited and can't be customised. This impacts reporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the ease of use of the software - it's very user-friendly and for the most part is very self-directed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The service level of this organization has been very sub-par. I had a ticket in for 3 months for a very simple question. First I got no response at all on the case ticket I put in. Finally I went to my sales reps and they copied someone in support to get back with me. Once I finally was assigned someone they only emailed back and forth. When I tried to call them their mail box was full. It's now been almost 6 months and I still don't have an answer to my question. They do provide a customer portal to find answers but my questions were not answered with the portal. I put in a complaint and asked to cancel my membership early and they would not allow this even with the break down in service on their end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's extremely flexible, allowing you to easily bulk edit in numerous ways. They've got very rich help documentation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The website could do a better job making the help documentation accessible from within the product itself; I often use google to find the help doc I need. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
