Ease of use. I was able to program my very first survey in Alchemer with zero assistance - the question types and layout instructions were intuitive and easy to maneuver. I used a different survey platform in my last role, and though it was a large platform, its skip logic, question piping/masking, analysis, and customization abilities were not even close to those of Alchemer's, AND it was more expensive! I don't dislike anything about Alchemer so far. There are things that could maybe be modernized a bit - the UI feels a little dated - but FUNCTIONALITY is what I truly care about so I really have no complaints. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Alchemer offers a large number of question types to choose from. Occasionally I find myself wanting a question type that isn't there, but that occurs much less often than with other platforms. I've used Qualtircs in the past and while Qualtrics may offer more, Alcamers offers 90% of what I need at a far more reasonable price. If I have a question their support team is quick to respond. They offer their own panel called "Survey Audience." Like most panels, a percentage of the responses end up being bogus. Most other panel companies provide credit for these or replace them. I contacted them about this and initially, they said they would work to resolve it, however, it's been nearly two months now and nothing has happened. I have recently sent three unanswered emails. Very disappointing. The survey side of their business is great but stay far away from using them as a panel source. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Alchemer is a full-featured, powerful and easy to use survey research platform. It has every type of survey question you could ever use, is very easy and intuitive to use, and powerful in terms of survey creation, data extraction and analysis. It's very easy to learn and very intuitive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is so much documentation that sometimes it takes a bit of time to find what you need. But the tech folks are there to help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Its easy to set-up and customise, whenever I need instructions, they are always well documented and available on their website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing too major, thought that the Login/Password Action is a little too basic. Does not allow for user to reset password after login, some cybersecurity concern here. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The ability to show & hide options within a question options, the superb UTM variable lookup for reporting purposes and the fantastic question type for the price Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Outdated UI and UX which is a big letdown compared to its competitors
Long feature enhancement timelines and time limited support Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The ease of use when building questions. They also provide prompts for standard survey question designs which are useful to the untrained user. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The test view in the builder is a little clunky but that can be overcome by using the review link. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the possibility of customizing surveys (text, question, images, footer, header, script) and product flexibility. In addition, it is so valuable the distinction between links and campaigns. It is so helpful for customer support and the page dedicated to helping. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes I can't use Alchemer for some hours because servers are down (such as yesterday). In addition, my surveys are big, and this is a problem for Alchemer because it can happen that the platform doesn't save my changes or duplicate in the wrong way a survey. Another annoying thing is that when I insert a new question, I have to refresh the page to see the space to insert the question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There's lots of sequencing options, various types of options like multiple choice, grids, etc. You can also design where if you say yes or no to a question, you move on to different questions next Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish it was a bit easier to customize with branded fonts, colors, etc. but there's enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The UI is very intuitive and user-friendly. I'm able to create and format the surveys that I need quickly. I love how many different question formats are available--it's incredibly useful. I appreciate the ability to style both my surveys and my reports. Being able to click a button and produce a professional, on-brand report is great. It saves me a lot of time that I would have to spend reformatting the results before sharing. Also, their customer service team is awesome! They have been so helpful and pleasant to work with. The thing that causes me the most frustration is the reports section. It can take a very long time to load, especially if you have a lot of data. Additionally, trying to export the results of a years-long survey is pretty much impossible. My workaround is sharing a report link, which isn't ideal in all situations.
