Ease of use and customer support. I am a newbie, having struggled to create my first survey on SurveyMonkey. I needed some support but was unable to get it soon enough and so found myself talking with an Alchemer salesman. He could not assist me with the SM question, but I elected to try Alchemer even though it meant scrapping all the work I had invested in SM. It was a great decision. Alchemer was so much more intuitive than SM. I breezed through building the survey way faster than the first pass on SM. And when I needed to resolve a tech problem, Customer Support was there - my email verification had failed to register but when I resubmitted, the hang-up resolved. The result was that I was able to post my survey in time to meet my deadline. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The well-meaning salesman tried a bit too hard and got beyond his knowledge base. Fortunately when he realized that he backed off and connected me to customer service. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the efficiency of the platform and all of the customization options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes there are glitches but customer support is always willing to help resolve the issue as much as possible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Alchemer has multiple question types so that I can build very complicated surveys. The customer service line is high-speed - I only waited for a minute before a representative picked up the phone. The representative quickly investigated my issue and then sought out the answer. So Hua Pei resolved my problem in less than 5 minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The preview page is not exactly consistent with the test page, so I get confused sometimes. For example, in the preview page, the "back" and "next" buttons are in opposite positions than in the testing and survey mode. Radio grid questions also display differently in preview mode than in testing mode. Cascading dropdown questions do not show the options in build mode although displayed correctly in testing mode. I like how easy it is to set up and build intuitive surveys that can be attached to any list with a simple URL. I also really enjoy the insights and analytics it builds right away Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As of right now, I haven't had many limitations within the product itself, I will say one thing I dislike is the overall cost structure and being kicked out Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Alchemer is pretty easy to use, but when there is a problem - tech support is amazing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Well, not fond of the name, I liked survey gizmo better :) but on the serious side - I would like it better if it cost less - who wouldn't? We have to be selective of who we give access to b/c being a smaller organization we can't just pay for everyone to have access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One of the best survey creation platforms I've used. Alchemer is an easy-to-use survey platform, where all the tools and settings are clear to the user, you just need to write the survey questions in the ready-made form that Alchemer provides to you, and within minutes you will finish entering the questions for the survey and also you will be able to send it to the target groups.
Alchemer will work on receiving questionnaires from the recipients, and you will be able to easily extract reports that show you the results and that include graphs with ease.
I also like the ability that Alchemer gives users to easily export the data collected for analysis across different statistical software. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing worth mentioning, Alchemer definitely achieves the goal of acquiring it, as I can now create the questionnaires I need and receive the results ready to start the analysis. It is challenging to find unpleasant things about Alchemer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Alchemer has all the features I need to successfully complete projects. The complex logic available makes it a perfect fit for studies with unique needs. Some other tools don't have the same features, which makes it a great option! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only downside of Alchemer is the challenge of sometimes linking various panel providers to the surveys and not always knowing exactly how to do that. I have never contacted support on this matter however and have always been able to figure it out in the end. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Many survey form choices, and easy to select Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
difficult to get function instructions. For example, I spent more than 30 mins for switching off question number. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love that you can create the survey you want by setting up multiple pages and having complete control over the question types and logic. They also offer options for integrating with other platforms, like Rybbon, to make incentivizing survey responders easy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish it was easier to create survey translations. It takes a lot of time upfront. I also wish it didn't cost so much to have extra users join the platform; it's quite an investment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There is are a lot of advanced question types and ways to get better data out. The API functionality also makes it nice to use with CRM systems or CDPs that can get updates via a webhook. I've used other tools like Survey Monkey (very basic) or Typeform (very pretty) that don't have the capabilities. Qualtrics has everything very advanced questions and reporting, but they are signficantly more expensive. Alchemer is a great solution for cost-minded researchers that don't want to lose their ability to run Conjoint or MaxDiff functions they might get with more advanced tools. A few things feel a little buggy at times. I think the backend data is not as nice as it could be, and it doesn't have data integrations directly to databases like Snowflake or Postgres. Webhooks get it done, but you need to manage an extra piece of tech to make it work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
