Aiven is a fantastic platform for getting up and running as quickly as possible. The cost is very competitive and flexible. The number of database options covers nearly all of our development and POC use cases. It is very easy to provision and to tear down and integrating with our existing development tooling is very simple, and we do not have to worry about usage, egress overages while prototyping and rapidly proving out MVP value. Some parts are not as customizable and easy to use as I would like, such as managing static IP addresses, customizing environment variables or config settings, and some features that are available in the tool do not seem to be available in Aiven, for example, with Clickhouse, not all of the secondary storage and remote table engines were compatible. it's super easy to access info for connecting to the database from the CLI, through code or a GUI. The service itself is easy to automate through Terraform or the web. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The logs are not very useful since you can't easily search or filter. it would be nice to be able to search/filter through your different services. The metrics overview is just a large list of charts and does not let you choose what you want to see. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The "getting started" documentations is straigthforward and contains example for a lot of different languages which is cool because I use the solution from multiple languages.

The monitoring capabilities is limited to Influxdb/Grafana, and there is no default grafana dashboard so we have to build our own.
There is a way to get a Prometheus endpoint but as we don't have Prometheus it's not a solution for us.
