Affinitext Reviews & Product Details

Affinitext provides an access controlled system to store important documents for my organisation. The documents are divided using an easy to navigate panel for quick access to the pieces of information I require. The system also has an easy to use search function if you are not sure where to find something. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Sometimes there can be a delay in receiving two factor authentication codes to my email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The best aspect is it is a central repository for all documents which otherwise get saved in different places making it really hard to know the "current" docs vs superceded.

The search function, linked definitions and covenant reminders are also really good functions which again automate a key risk of contractual administration Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The main challenge is keeping documents updated given it it's not up to date or reliable then it really defeats the purpose. While this is largely the responsibility of the user (vs Affinitext) it is probably the key barrier to its full effectiveness.

I just went through a relatively material update of documents for the project I oversee and it was a very easy process. I was pleased with how it went. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It is very user friendly and it understand what you need and it is quick and fluid Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It would be good to open word doc's within rather than downlaoding them and a small gui upgrade would be nice to show a all sites and whatever you click on is the site you are working with iff that makes sense. Sometimes having all fo them it gets in the way but i would still like both features there too Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The Tool does not manage documents in accordance with ISO 9001 and ISO 10007.

There is no document number, revision that is traced in Affenitext to the original document.

There is a no Amendment History in a covering page to traced to a document see how many Amendment were implemented and the date they were Implememnted.

To see what was amended an A in a Red Box appears that you click on and show the Documents that authorised the changes.

The Query Function is poor as it searches for ever document in the tool.

There is no traceability to the number of paper copie produced and if the paper copies have been updated.

When a PDF is created, is does not create a exact copy of a documents. with version or amendment histoy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Task Management and Dashboard

The Dashboard has been most useful to me.

Realtime metrics.

All tools within Affinitext are used by Fengate.

Affinitext joins up the dots by understanding common themes of documents and key words, bringing intelligence to documentation that previously remained static, requiring manual intervention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

More hyperlinks on clause numbers, rather than the text alone. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

All the contractual information at one place and secure. It's also very easy to search and access relevant information using this platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Affinitext makes it easier to navigate quite a complext contract and makes following through on links to other areas of the contract and definitions straightforward. Provide up to date contractual text following deeds of variation is also very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Only minor annoyance relates to when you click on clause reference in a definition as pop up window and it moves the main text you were looking at to the related link. It would be better in separate window perhaps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
