"Transcoding of multimedia files"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

Adobe Media Encoder allows you to encode multimedia files, especially video, in order to better manage them and save them in the most correct format. It can be used alone or combined with Adobe software, such as After Effects and Premiere Pro (but also Audition for audio files). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

It is probably underused, or used only for standard situations, such as correctly encoding a video for social media. Actually Adobe Media Encoder allows much more, even for a much more professional use. From this point of view it would be a good thing to advertise these functions in the best possible way and perhaps make the interface a little more user friendly. "Essential for video exporting multiple projects"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

I love that I can continue working on my projects in Premier or After Effects while other videos are encoded and saved with Media Encoder. It doubled the pace of my previous workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

I dislike that when I need to edit a video already sent to Media Encoder, it adds a new video to the queue rather than updating the list, so I have to delete the older version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Drag and drop simplicity at its finest"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

I truly enjoy how easy Adobe makes it for you to encode media. It is truly drag and drop and with so many encoding choices available, it is easy to output the correct file type and format for all kinds of projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

Some of the settings could be a bit more intuitive, it may be just me not knowing all the terminology, but there should be a basic and advanced mode. Clearly there are settings here that I will never use, so to be able to skip through a bit quicker would be ideal. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A really useful video rendering software"
5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

I am grateful with the possibility of rendering while we continue doing other tasks in premiere or continue editing other projects, in addition to being able to apply the renderings one after another. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

Sometimes the rendering pauses for no reason, I have to restart the rendering again, but sometimes I don't realize that it has been paused because I'm doing other tasks and wasting time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

I like Adobe Media Encoder because it helping me with rendering my projects from Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro easily and quickly... I can send many projects from Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere to Adobe Media Encoder while I am working on other projects on these programs with ease... Also sometimes I use Adobe Media Encoder as a converting software for my videos and audios Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

It couldn't render more than one project at the same time, That's the only thing I don't like in Adobe Media Encoder Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful Media Encoding with Adobe Media Encoder"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

Media Encoder is a powerful one-stop shop for nearly all your encoding needs. Especially for encoding projects from Premier Pro and After Effects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

Since the recent updates have come out for Media Encoder and After Effects, the process for encoding via Dynamic Link from After Effects has not always been possible. Once this issue has been resolved, Media Encoder will once again be a complete one-stop shop encoding tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Encode the world"
5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

There is no way around the fact that everyone who identifies themselves as designers must have adobe tools at their hands and motion designers rely on After Effects, Premiere and alike. What makes the encoder stands out is how smoothly it integrates with all Adobe ecosystem. It makes my life much simpler! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

Sometimes I want an advanced encoder setting and more codecs. I see the objective to keep it simple and to be honest, when I open the encoder, I already have a tight deadline running to deliver. That's a fact, I know, but, from time to time, I have the opportunity to explore it more and I feel a bit constrained by the lack of options to tweak the settings deeper. "Adobe Media Encoder Saves time"
5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

Adobe Media Encoder gives you the capacity to perform multiple exporting video processes parallel to each other, allowing you to continue editing video while exporting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

What I dislike the most about Adobe Media Encoder software is that it is rather hard to run correctly on Windows computers that do not have an excessive amount of resources to work. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Exporting is a breeze with Adobe Media Encoder"
5/5
What do you like best about Adobe Media Encoder?

I'm able to export my videos in a variety of formats, with a ton of different settings for optimum performance! It's also great for projects that cross over between After Effects and Premiere Pro. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Adobe Media Encoder?

Everything works as advertised, I just wish there were some more options for exporting non-video formats. For example, it can be cumbersome to open Photoshop to convert a large PNG to a small JPG. This could be streamlined if I could do it right within Media Encoder. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
